Day 2 - 06 May 2022 - 2nd Dose

Ladies and gentlemen, here it is, the 2nd dose of our wonderful elixir. Today we have added some variety in the strength. You will undoubtedly feel the effect, and do not be afraid of blurred vision or dizziness. Let it sink in while looking forward to tomorrow, when we add the iron tip of the javelin as a new component to the formula.

Obstacle Run (Universe@Home) & Overall Standings
There is nothing like a little variety. Today is a bonus day! This provides the teams an opportunity to get an extra boost. Even KITT fades away in comparison and remorsefully retires to its garage.

This boost kicked up heavy dust, and the current track conditions are challenging for the participants. The visibility is limited, but who would want to be successful without a challenge. Unfortunately, one obstacle or two have also crept in on the scoreboard at the moment. Maybe gremlins or goblins, who knows. But the exterminator is on the way.

TAAT has now taken the lead, but has to face the counterattack of P3D (#2). The Green Planet has mobilised all its lawnmower horsepower and is fighting back! The single malt faction of TSBT has also woken up and moved up to #3. Here is to a glass of Lagavulin.

The victim of this is SG, who now find themselves in #4. The Germans have to be extremely careful not to accumulate too much of a deficit, otherwise it will be difficult for them to win a precious metal. [H] (#5) also used the boost for an attack and made a strong advance.

CNT (#7) also tried to take advantage of the moment, but RKN (#6) is fighting back with all its might. But still, the Rechenkrafties lost contact with the podium, unfortunately. AF also lost ground, only #8 at the moment. They probably need a dose of magic potion, er, elixir.

Ukraine is doing well in #9 and even manages to leave TC (#10) behind. No matter how much the Chinese dragon grumbles, that is the reality. OCN (#11) is also one of the teams that have been able to make the most of the bonus day so far. And the top 10 is not far away.

However, there is already a small gap behind them. Meisterkuehler (#12), BOINC.Italy (#13), EVGA (#14), and the AMD Users (#15) form an illustrious quartet, but they do not seem strong enough to work their way upward.

Another quartet appears to be forming behind them. Led by Chinese Dream (#16) and UBT (#17), LITOMYSL (#18) and BOINC@AUSTRALIA (#19) are also quite close. However, the latter two have to be careful not to lose touch.

TFFE (#20) and 2ch (#21) would certainly like to have some company, as they are traveling at a similar pace. However, the hope that someone from behind can catch up to this duo seems to be bursting at the moment. BOINCstats (#22) and BOINC Synergy (#23) are too busy with cuddling, and Crystal Dream (#24) is still mourning the end of yesterday's dream community.

BC (#25) and Russia (#26) are very slow and complete the field. But at least they got on their way.

It still remains to be seen what the final impact of the first bonus day will be. There is still a lot of dust on the track and we cannot quite see clearly yet. But this will certainly improve soon. And then there is the first attempt at the Javelin Throw tomorrow. While the first day may not be very meaningful on its own, it will certainly rewrite the overall standings a bit.

And now?

• Can TAAT maintain the lead at the obstacle?
• Will [H] trouble SG at the obstacle?
• Who will throw best tomorrow?

Jour 2 - 06/05/2022 - 2e dose

Mesdames et Messieurs, là voici, la 2e dose de notre merveilleux élixir. Aujourd’hui nous avons produit un breuvage un peu plus charpenté. Vous allez en ressentir les effets sans aucun doute; et n'ayez pas peur si vous voyez trouble ou que vous avez des vertiges. Laissez-le agir sur vous et réjouissez-vous déjà de demain où nous ajouterons un nouvel ingrédient à la recette avec la pointe métallique du javelot.

Course d'obstacles (Universe@Home) & Classement général
Rien de tel que du changement. Aujourd'hui c'est journée bonus! Les équipes ont ainsi la possibilité d'apporter une poussée supplémentaire. Même K.I.T.T. pâlit et se retire, contrit, dans son garage.

Ce boost a soulevé pas mal de poussière et les conditions actuelles sur la piste sont un défi pour les participants. La visibilité est restreinte, mais qui voudrait remporter un succès sans défi? Malheureusement, certains obstacles se sont aussi glissés dans le tableau d'affichage. Peut-être des gremlins ou des farfadets, qui sait? Mais le dératiseur est déjà en route.

TAAT s'est désormais placée en tête, mais elle doit résister à la contre-attaque de P3D (#2). La Planète verte a mobilisé toute la puissance des tondeuses à gazon et riposte! La section Single Malt de TSBT s'est également réveillée et a propulsé son équipe au rang 3. Un verre de Lagavulin à leur santé.

La victime de cela est SG qui ne se retrouve plus qu'au rang 4. Et les Allemands doivent faire terriblement gaffe de ne pas accumuler trop de retard, sinon ils vont avoir du mal à décrocher une médaille. [H] (#5), qui a également profité du boost pour une attaque, a considérablement progressé.

CNT (#7) a aussi tenté de profiter de l'occasion, mais RKN (#6) se défend de toutes ses forces. En attendant, les gars et les filles de Rechenkraft ont dû laisser filer le contact avec le podium. L'AF est également descendue: seulement rang 8 actuellement. Il est temps de prendre une dose de potion magique, euh, d'élixir.

L'Ukraine se bat courageusement au rang 9, elle réussit même à laisser TC (#10) derrière elle. Le dragon chinois peut ronchonner autant qu'il veut, c'est la réalité. OCN (#11) fait également partie des équipes qui ont réussi à profiter idéalement de cette journée bonus. Et le top10 n'est pas loin.

Mais derrière s'ouvre déjà la première petite brèche. Meisterkuehler (#12), BOINC.Italy (#13), EVGA (#14) et les AMD Users (#15) forment un illustre quatuor, mais elles ne semblent pas assez fortes pour pouvoir progresser davantage.

Un autre quatuor semble se former derrière. Menées par Chinese Dream (#16) et UBT (#17), LITOMYSL (#18) et BOINC@AUSTRALIA (#19) sont aussi relativement proches l'une de l'autre. En revanche, les deux dernières devront veiller à ne pas perdre le contact.

TFFE (#20) et 2ch (#21) seraient sûrement contentes d'avoir de la compagnie, alors elles progressent à vitesse similaire. L'espoir de voir quelqu'un rejoindre ce duo depuis l'arrière semble actuellement illusoire. BOINCstats (#22) et BOINC Synergy (#23) sont en train de se faire des câlins et Crystal Dream (#24) est toujours en plein deuil de l'association onirique.

BC (#25) et Russia (#26) progressent très lentement et terminent le peloton. Au moins, elles se sont mises en route.

Reste à voir quels seront les effets finaux de cette première journée bonus. Il y a encore beaucoup de poussière sur la piste et la vue n'est pas encore très dégagée. Mais cela devrait s'arranger rapidement. De plus, il y aura la première tentative de Lancer de javelot demain. La première journée ne devrait pas être très probante, mais elle devrait toutefois réécrire un peu le classement général.

Et maintenant?

• TAAT pourra-t-elle conserver son leadership à la Course d'obstacles?
• [H] contrariera-t-elle encore SG à la Course d'obstacles?
• Qui fera le meilleur lancer demain?

Tag 2 - 06.05.2022 - 2. Dosis

Meine sehr geehrten Damen und Herren, hier ist sie, die 2. Dosis unseres wunderbaren Elixiers. Heute haben wir etwas Abwechslung in der Stärke eingebaut. Sie werden den Effekt ohne Zweifel spüren und haben Sie keine Angst vor verschwommenen Sehen oder Schwindelgefühlen. Lassen Sie es auf sich wirken und freuen Sie sich dabei schon auf morgen, wenn wir eine neue Komponente mit der eisernen Spitze des Speers in die Rezeptur einfügen werden.

Hindernislauf (Universe@Home) & Gesamtwertung
Es geht doch nichts über etwas Abwechslung. Heute ist Bonustag! Damit haben die Teams die Möglichkeit für einen Extra-Schub zu sorgen. Da verblasst K.I.T.T. und zieht sich reumütig in seine Garage zurück.

Dieser Boost hat heftigen Staub aufgewirbelt und die aktuellen Streckenbedingungen sind eine Herausforderung für die Teilnehmer. Die Sicht ist eingeschränkt, aber wer will schon erfolgreich sein, ohne Herausforderung. Leider hat sich derzeit auch an der Anzeigentafel das eine oder andere Hindernis eingeschlichen. Vielleicht Gremlins oder Kobolde, wer weiß. Aber der Kammerjäger ist unterwegs.

An die Spitze hat sich nunmehr TAAT gesetzt, muss sich aber dem Gegenangriff von P3D (#2) stellen. Der Grüne Planet hat alle Rasenmäher-PS mobilisiert und schlägt zurück! Aufgewacht ist auch die Single-Malt-Fraktion von TSBT, die sich auf #3 vorgeschoben haben. Darauf ein Gläschen Lagavulin.

Leidtragender davon ist SG, die sich auf #4 wieder finden. Die Deutschen müssen dabei höllisch aufpassen, nicht zu viel Rückstand anzuhäufen, sonst wird es schwer mit Edelmetall. Kräftig nach vorn ging es auch für [H] (#5), die den Boost genauso für einen Angriff genutzt haben.

Auch CNT (#7) hat versucht, die Gunst der Stunde zu nutzen, doch RKN (#6) wehrt sich aus Leibeskräften. Damit haben die Rechenkraftler dennoch den Kontakt zum Podium leider abreißen lassen müssen. Nach hinten ging es auch für AF, nur #8 derzeit. Da wird es Zeit für eine Dosis Zaubertrank, äh, Elixier.

Wacker schlägt sich auf #9 die Ukraine, denen es sogar gelingt, Team China (#10) hinter sich zu lassen. Da kann der chinesische Drache noch so grummeln, so ist die Realität. Auch OCN (#11) gehört zu den Teams, die bisher den Bonustag optimal für sich nutzen konnten. Und die Top 10 sind nicht weit weg.

Eine kleine Lücke gibt es aber schon dahinter. Meisterkuehler (#12), BOINC.Italy (#13), EVGA (#14) und die AMD Users (#15) bilden ein illustres Quartett, die aber nicht stark genug scheinen, um sich weiter nach vorn arbeiten zu können.

Ein weiteres Quartett scheint sich dahinter zu formieren. Angeführt von Chinese Dream (#16) und UBT (#17) sind auch LITOMYSL (#18) und BOINC@AUSTRALIA (#19) recht nahe beieinander. Allerdings müssen die beiden Letztgenannten aufpassen, den Anschluss nicht zu verlieren.

TFFE (#20) und 2ch (#21) würden sich sicher über Begleitung freuen, so sind die beiden mit ähnlichem Tempo unterwegs. Die Hoffnung, das von hinten noch jemand zu diesem Duo aufschließen kann, scheint derzeit zu platzen. BOINCstats (#22) und BOINC Synergy (#23) sind mit Kuscheln beschäftigt und Crystal Dream (#24) trauert immer noch dem Ende der Traumgemeinschaft hinterher.

Die BOINC Confederation (#25) und Russia (#26) sind arg langsam unterwegs und beschließen das Feld. Aber zumindest haben sie sich auf den Weg gemacht.

Noch bleibt abzuwarten, wie sich der erste Bonustag endgültig auswirkt. Noch ist viele Staub auf der Strecke und wir sehen noch nicht ganz klar. Aber das wird sich sicher bald geben. Dazu steht morgen der erste Versuch beim Speerwurf an. Der erste Tag mag noch nicht sehr aussagekräftig sein, wird aber die Gesamtwertung sicher etwas neu schreiben.

Und nun?

• Kann TAAT die Führung beim Hindernis halten?
• Ärgert [H] noch SG beim Hindernis?
• Wer wird morgen am besten werfen?
