The thirteenth BOINC Pentathlon is over
Part 2
Done. The 13th BOINC Pentathlon is history and once again offered something for everyone. TAAT was really up for it this year and managed to take the gold. But it was also exciting and varied behind them.
As expected, there were larger gaps at the Cross Country at PrimeGrid. Of the big teams, only AF slipped a bit. This discipline probably was the calmest for the observer this year.
As always, the Sprint at SRBase was short and painless. The fight for silver and bronze and for a few other ranks was exciting until the end.
Unfortunately, the medals were quickly decided at the City Run at Einstein@Home. However, we were compensated with the thrilling battle for #4, in which, appropriately enough, five teams were involved. There were also various small groups fighting for several ranks behind them.
At the Javelin Throw on NumberFields@home, the teams have now learned to weigh and use the tactical options. P3D managed to achieve their result with three optimal throws, while other teams had to throw once more. For example, SG had to throw four times, only to see that their main competitor did not throw at all. Other teams mixed up the field from behind, making it a challenge for the observer to determine the real standings.
With the Obstacle Run, there was also a change in the program again. Both the teams and the organizers gained experience here. How to make best use of the bonus days? What impact do they have? Universe@Home provided a basis for this that was not without problems, but hopefully provided the project with many important insights. Perhaps it was also because of the bonus days that the winner was not crowned until the final day, something that never happened before on the long track.
My heartfelt thanks again to the hardworking French translators, modesti and her new proofreader Andarta. I am sure that Cocagne watched from "above" and gave her approval.

Overall Standings
For the third time, TAAT, P3D, and TSBT shared the medals between them. SG was a bit closer this year, but could not take their chance. A solid core of teams has formed at the top to beat. TAAT, P3D, TSBT, SG, [H], CNT, RKN, and AF are among this core. This year, Ukraine and Team China were able to break through.
This year, 26 teams participated, of which 23 already participated last year. Beside the returnees of BOINC Confederation and BOINC Synergy, there was a newcomer, The Final Front Ear, who performed respectably.
And now the Overall Standings in detail. The results in the individual disciplines are given in parentheses in the order Obstacle Run - Javelin Throw - Cross Country - Sprint - City Run. As usual, I add my two cents to the best fifteen...
Gold Medal
1st TeAm AnandTech (1-1-1-1-1) – previous year: #2
At least for TAAT, 13 was a lucky number this year. After taking silver in the last two years, they were really up for it this time and pulled out all the stops. It remains to be seen whether they can confirm this next year.
Silver Medal
2nd Planet 3DNow! (2-2-2-4-2) – previous year: #1
The Green Planet turned from the hunted to the hunter. They still managed to beat TAAT last year, but this was impossible this year. Nevertheless, they remain a strong team that once again was able to mobilize its potential, and with which we will have to reckon again next year.
Bronze Medal
3rd The Scottish Boinc Team (3-8-3-2-3) – previous year: #3
The Scots were difficult to assess before the start. It was not enough to fight for gold, and in the end there was a slight decline compared to last year. The slip-up at the Javelin Throw had no consequences in the end, but this was mainly because of the competitors. Without an improvement, it could be close next year.
4th SETI.Germany (4-3-5-3-4) – previous year: #4
Two bronze medals made this Pentathlon a success for the Blue and Yellows. However, the overall medal remained elusive for them in the end. The small slip-up in the Cross Country did not make the difference, there was one more bit missing. The Germans have to work on that and then they will be able to win a medal again.
5th [H]ard|OCP (5-5-4-6-5) – previous year: #6
Always in the top 10 for five years, they showed a rock-solid performance once again. This is evident from their individual results. The trend was already visible last year, and they now have been able to build on it.
6th Czech National Team (7-4-6-5-6) – previous year: #7
Having participated in the Pentathlon since the beginning and constantly in the top 10, the Czechs are a fixture at this competition. At the Javelin Throw, they came close to precious metal, which, however, remained elusive for them this year. They remain a hot candidate for individual medals in the future.
7th Rechenkraft.net (6-6-7-7-7) – previous year: #8
The Rechenkrafties also established themselves in the top 10. They simply do not drop out of it since 2016. They improved on last year, again with a very stable performance. However, to achieve more they will have to do more.
8th Ukraine (10-7-10-8-12) - previous year: #13
Their best result in the history of this competition is a brilliant achievement, for which one can only congratulate, particularly given the current circumstances. The highlight was their result at the Javelin Throw, which was somewhat neutralized by the City Run, but still shows the potential of the team.
9th L'Alliance Francophone (9-9-13-10-11) – previous year: #9
The Alliance has lost touch with the extended top since 2016. One year before that, they won their last medal. As the competition does not sleep and new teams keep coming from behind, it will be a challenge for them to stay in the top 10.
10th Team China (8-18-9-13-9) – previous year: #25
They are back. While their wings were very lame last year and the skipped the year before that, the Chinese have come back. They are not yet as strong as in 2017 or 2018, but at least they have shown up again. The potential is still there and could pose a challenge for the top teams.
11th BOINC.Italy (13-16-8-12-13) – previous year: #16
In the last few years, the Italians went downhill slowly, but steadily. It is nice to see that they were able to change this now. While it was not enough for the top 10, their best result since 2016 should give enough reason to celebrate with wine and pizza.
12th AMD Users (14-13-11-9-18) - previous year: #19
AMD Users could improve as well and confirm their previous best overall result from 2019. City Run and Obstacle Run did not really suit them and cost them points. I hope that they can confirm the good performance next year.
13th Crunching@EVGA (15-15-12-11-14) – previous year: #14
They completed a solid Pentathlon and gained one rank. At first glance, a good result. However, three teams slipped by that they used to be able to keep behind them. The competition is getting stronger, this must give them food for thought. If they do not improve next year, there is a danger of falling down the rankings.
14th Overclock.net (12-14-15-17-10) - previous year: #11
The results of the overclockers were fluctuating. They did well in City Run and Obstacle Run, but lost again important points in the Sprint. Thus they had to let the stronger teams pass.
15th Meisterkuehler.de Team (11-12-18-15-19) - previous year: #20
Finally back in the top 15. After several good years, things have not been so smooth since 2018. Now they were able to improve significantly again. It is typical for the cool ones to concentrate on specific projects, this year these were Javelin Throw and Obstacle Run. They were not too far behind the top 10 there. Let us see what is possible next year.

Statistics
TAAT joins the list of now five overall winners. P3D continues to lead this statistic with 6 overall wins, in part because SETI.USA (3) has not competed for several years.
With now 8 individual gold medals, TAAT is now in #3 in the discipline statistics. However, P3D (17) and SETI.USA (15) are a long way ahead. P3D still has the most silver medals (26) and was able to massively expand this lead. The same is true for SG in terms of bronze medals, of which they now have 14 in their closet.
What now? After the Pentathlon is before the Pentathlon.
- Can TAAT confirm their performance?
- Can SG once again win an overall medal?
- Can TC reach for precious metal next year?

Le treizième BOINC Pentathlon est terminé

C'est fait! Le 13e BOINC Pentathlon fait partie de l'histoire et il y en a eu pour tous les goûts. Cette année, TAAT en voulait et elle a réussi à collectionner l'or. Mais derrière, c'était également passionnant et varié.
Comme prévu, le Cross-country sur PrimeGrid a donné des écarts plus importants. Parmi les grandes équipes, seule l'AF a un peu dérapé. Cette discipline était probablement la plus calme pour les observateurs cette année.
Le Sprint sur SRBase était - comme toujours - bref et sans douleur. Jusqu'au bout, la bataille pour l'argent, le bronze et certaines autres positions était captivante.
Malheureusement, les médailles étaient rapidement distribuées à la Course urbaine sur Einstein@Home. Pour la peine, la superbe lutte pour la 4e place, dans laquelle cinq équipes étaient impliquées, nous a bien dédommagés. Derrière aussi, il y a eu divers petits groupes qui se battaient pour différentes positions.
Au Lancer de javelot sur NumberFields@home, les équipes ont désormais appris à évaluer les options tactiques et à en profiter. P3D ont réussi à atteindre leur objectif en trois lancers idéaux, tandis que d'autres équipes ont dû bosser une fois de plus. Ainsi, SG a dû lancer quatre fois pour se rendre finalement compte que son principal concurrent ne lançait même pas correctement. D'autres équipes ont mis le souk à l'arrière, c'était donc toujours un défi pour les observateurs de détecter le vrai classement.
La Course d'obstacles a également apporté un changement au programme. Tout comme les organisateurs, les équipes ont fait leurs classes. Comment utiliser au mieux les journées bonus? Quels sont leurs effets? Pour cela, Universe a offert une base, certes non sans problèmes, mais l'épreuve lui a sûrement apporté beaucoup d'éléments importants. Peut-être était-ce dû aux journées bonus que le vainqueur n'ait pu être adoubé que le dernier jour? Cela n'a encore jamais été le cas sur la piste longue.
Mes remerciements chaleureux vont une fois de plus aux traductrices assidues pour le français, modesti et sa nouvelle relectrice Andarta. Je suis sûr que Cocagne les aura observées "d'en haut" et qu'elle leur aura donné sa bénédiction.
pschoefer s'est chargé de la traduction anglaise. Il mérite des remerciements spéciaux pour la préparation. C'est lui qui est en contact avec les projets, ce qui n'est et n'a pas toujours été sans importance...
C'est super que le compte-rendu soit ainsi rendu accessible à un public non-germanophone. Je suis sûr que ça ne démontre pas seulement l'esprit de cette compétition, mais que c'est aussi une cause de sa popularité. Merci beaucoup!
Classement général
Pour la troisième fois, TAAT, P3D et TSBT se répartissent les médailles. SG s'en est approché un peu plus cette année, mais elle n'a pas réussi à profiter de son opportunité. Entre-temps un noyau dur d'équipes se cristallise en tête qu'il s'agit de battre. TAAT, P3D, TSBT, SG, [H], CNT, RKN et l'AF font partie de ce noyau. Cette année, l'Ukraine et Team China ont réussi à les rejoindre.
26 équipes ont participé cette année, dont 23 avaient déjà participé l'an dernier. Outre les revenantes BOINC Confederation et BOINC Synergy, nous avons pu accueillir une bleue en The Final Front Ear, qui s'est battue honorablement.

Médaille d'Or
1er TeAm AnandTech (1-1-1-1-1) – année précédente: #2
Le 13 a au moins porté chance à TAAT cette année. Décorée de la médaille d'argent au cours des deux dernières années, elle a voulu en découdre cette fois et a fait feu de tout bois. On verra si elle peut confirmer cela l'an prochain.

2e Planet 3DNow! (2-2-2-4-2) – année précédente: #1
Passage du gibier au chasseur pour la Planète verte. L'an dernier, elle avait encore réussi à battre TAAT, mais cette année, elle n'y est pas arrivée. Elle reste cependant une équipe forte qui est parvenue à mobiliser ses forces vives et sur laquelle nous devrons à nouveau compter l'année prochaine.
Médaille de Bronze
3e The Scottish Boinc Team (3-8-3-2-3) – année précédente: #3
Les Écossais ont été difficiles à évaluer avant le départ. Leur force était insuffisante pour la bataille de l'or et au final, il reste une légère baisse par rapport à l'année précédente. Le dérapage au Javelot est heureusement resté sans conséquence, mais c'était plutôt dû à la concurrence. Sans amélioration, les choses pourraient être serrées l'an prochain.
4e SETI.Germany (4-3-5-3-4) – année précédente: #4
Deux médailles de bronze ont fait de ce Pentathlon un succès pour les Bleu et Jaune, mais la médaille au général leur a finalement été refusée. Le petit dérapage au Cross-country n'a pas changé grand-chose, il en manque tout simplement un peu. Les Allemands devront y travailler et ils arriveront alors à décrocher de nouveau une médaille.
5e [H]ard|OCP (5-5-4-6-5) – année précédente: #6
Depuis cinq ans régulièrement dans le top10, cette équipe a encore montré une performance plus que solide, c'est ce que révèlent les résultats individuels. Cette tendance était déjà visible l'an dernier et l'équipe a réussi à la consolider encore.
6e Czech National Team (7-4-6-5-6) – année précédente: #7
Présents depuis le début du Pentathlon et toujours dans le top10, les Tchèques font partie des meubles de cette compétition. Au Javelot, ils n'étaient pas loin des médailles, mais elles leur étaient une fois de plus refusées cette année. Ils resteront toujours un favori pour les médailles individuelles.
7e Rechenkraft.net (6-6-7-7-7) – année précédente: #8
Les gars et les filles de Rechenkraft se sont également incrustés dans le top10. Depuis 2016, impossible de les en déloger. Ils ont réussi à s'améliorer par rapport à l'an dernier, une fois de plus grâce à une performance stable. Toutefois, ils devront en faire plus s'ils en veulent plus.
8e Ukraine (10-7-10-8-12) - année précédente: #13
Le meilleur résultat dans l'histoire de la compétition est une performance brillante, notamment dans la situation actuelle, pour laquelle on ne peut que la féliciter. Le point fort était le résultat au Sprint, qui a certes été contrebalancé par la Course urbaine, mais qui montre le potentiel de l'équipe.
9e L'Alliance Francophone (9-9-13-10-11) – année précédente: #9
L'Alliance a perdu le contact avec le sommet élargi depuis 2016. La dernière médaille individuelle a été décrochée un an plus tôt. Comme la concurrence ne dort pas et que de nouvelles équipes ne cessent d'approcher par l'arrière, ce sera un défi de se maintenir dans le top10.
10e Team China (8-18-9-13-9) – année précédente: #25
Ils sont de retour! Après avoir été blessés à l'aile l'an dernier et avoir fait une pause l'année d'avant, les Chinois ont signé leur retour. Ils ne sont pas encore aussi forts qu'en 2017 ou 2018, mais au moins ils ont refait une apparition. Le potentiel est toujours là et ils pourraient devenir un défi pour les équipes au sommet.
11e BOINC.Italy (13-16-8-12-13) – année précédente: #16
Ces dernières années, les Italiens ont dégringolé lentement mais avec constance. Cela fait plaisir à voir qu'ils ont réussi à changer ça cette fois. Certes, ce n'était pas assez pour le top10, mais le meilleur classement depuis 2016 devrait être une bonne occasion de faire la fête avec du vin et de la pizza.
12e AMD Users (14-13-11-9-18) - année précédente: #19
Les AMD Users ont également réussi à progresser et à confirmer leur meilleur classement général de 2019. La Course urbaine et la Course d'obstacles n'étaient pas vraiment leur tasse de thé et leur ont coûté des points. Pour l'an prochain, j'espère qu'ils pourront confirmer leur bonne performance.
13e Crunching@EVGA (15-15-12-11-14) – année précédente: #14
Elle a fait un solide Pentathlon et a gagné une place. Au premier coup d'œil c'est un bon résultat, mais trois équipes, qu'elle avait réussi à garder derrière elle par le passé, lui sont passées devant. La concurrence se renforce, ça doit donner à réfléchir. Pour l'année prochaine, elle devra s'améliorer sinon elle risque de descendre dans le classement.
14e Overclock.net (12-14-15-17-10) - année précédente: #11
Les résultats des Overclockers étaient variables. La Course urbaine et la Course d'obstacle leur convenaient bien, mais ils ont encore perdu de précieux points au Sprint. Ainsi, eux aussi ont dû laisser passer les équipes qui montent en puissance.
15e Meisterkuehler.de Team (11-12-18-15-19) - année précédente: #20
Enfin de retour dans le top15. Après de bonnes années, les choses tournaient moins rond depuis 2018. Cette fois, l'équipe a réussi une nette progression. Ce qui est typique pour les givrés, c'est leur concentration sur certains projets, cette année c'était le Javelot et la Course d'obstacles. Il ne manquait pas grand-chose pour rentrer dans le top10. Nous verrons ce qui se passera l'an prochain.

Statistiques
Désormais, TAAT se range dans la liste des cinq vainqueurs au général. Avec 6 victoires au général, P3D continuera à mener dans cette statistique, entre autres parce que SETI.USA (3) reste à l'écart de cette compétition depuis quelques années.
Avec 8 médailles d'or individuelles, TAAT se retrouve maintenant au rang 3 de la statistique des disciplines. Mais P3D (17) et SETI.USA (15) sont loin devant. P3D continue à détenir le plus de médailles d'argent (26) et elle a réussi à fortement consolider ce leadership. C'est aussi valable pour SG en ce qui concerne le bronze: elle dispose désormais de 14 médailles dans sa vitrine.
Et maintenant? Après le Pentathlon est avant le Pentathlon.

Der dreizehnte BOINC Pentathlon ist beendet
Teil 2
Geschafft. Der 13. BOINC Pentathlon ist Geschichte und bot wieder für jeden was. Dieses Jahr wollte es TAAT unbedingt wissen und hat es auch geschafft, Gold einzuheimsen. Doch auch dahinter war es spannend und abwechslungsreich.
Das Querfeldein bei PrimeGrid sorgte erwartungsgemäß für größere Abstände. Von den großen Teams rutschte nur AF etwas aus. Wahrscheinlich war diese Disziplin in diesem Jahr die geruhsamste für den Betrachter.
Der Sprint bei SRBase war wie immer kurz und schmerzlos. Spannend bis zum Schluss war der Kampf um Silber und Bronze und auf einzelnen Positionen.
Beim Stadtlauf bei Einstein@Home waren die Medaillen leider schnell verteilt. Entschädigt wurden wir aber mit dem packenden Kampf um #4, wo passenderweise fünf Teams mitmischten. Auch dahinter gab es verschiedene Grüppchen, die gegenseitig um Positionen kämpften.
Beim Speerwerfen auf NumberFields@home haben die Teams inzwischen gelernt, die taktischen Optionen abzuwägen und zu nutzen. P3D gelang es, das Ergebnis in drei optimalen Würfen zu erreichen, während andere Teams da einmal mehr ran mussten. So musste SG viermal ran, um dann zu sehen, dass der Hauptkonkurrent gar nicht richtig wirft. Andere Teams mischten das Feld von hinten auf, so dass es für Beobachter immer eine Herausforderung war, den echten Stand zu erkennen.
Mit dem Hindernislauf gab es auch wieder eine Veränderung im Programm. Hier haben die Teams genauso wie die Organisatoren Erfahrungen gesammelt. Wie die Bonustage am besten einsetzen? Welche Wirkungen haben sie? Universe@Home bot dazu eine Basis, die zwar nicht ohne Probleme blieb, aber dem Projekt wohl viele wichtige Erkenntnisse brachte. Vielleicht lag es auch an den Bonustagen, dass der Sieger erst am letzten Tag gekürt wurde, was auf der Langstrecke bisher nie der Fall war.
Mein herzlicher Dank geht wieder an die fleißigen französischen Übersetzer modesti und ihre neue Korrektorin Andarta. Ich bin sicher, Cocagne wird von "oben" zugeschaut und ihren Segen gegeben haben.
Für die englische Übersetzung war pschoefer zuständig, dem auch ein besonderer Dank in der Vorbereitung gilt. Er hat den Kontakt zu den Projekten, was nicht immer ganz unwichtig ist und war...
Es ist toll, dass der Bericht so auch einem nicht-deutschsprachigen Publikum zugänglich gemacht wird. Ich bin sicher, dass dies nicht nur den Geist des Wettbewerbs wunderbar zeigt, sondern ihn auch deshalb so beliebt macht. Vielen Dank!
Gesamtwertung
Zum dritten Mal machten TAAT, P3D und TSBT die Medaillen unter sich aus. SG war dieses Jahr etwas näher dran, konnte aber seine Chance nicht nutzen. Inzwischen bildet sich ein fester Kern von Teams an der Spitze heraus, die es zu schlagen gilt. TAAT, P3D, TSBT, SG, [H], CNT, RKN und AF gehören zum Stamm. In diesem Jahr konnten die Ukraine und Team China da hineinstoßen.
In diesem Jahr waren 26 Teams dabei, von denen 23 bereits letztes Jahr dabei waren. Neben den Rückkehrern von BOINC Confederation und BOINC Synergy gab es mit The Final Front Ear einen Neueinsteiger, der sich auch achtbar geschlagen hat.
Hier nun die Gesamtwertung im Einzelnen. In Klammern die Ergebnisse der einzelnen Disziplinen in der Reihenfolge Hindernislauf - Speerwerfen - Querfeldein - Sprint - Stadtlauf. Traditionell gebe ich zu den ersten fünfzehn meinen Bautzner Senf dazu...
Goldmedaille
1. TeAm AnandTech (1-1-1-1-1) – Vorjahr: #2
Die 13 brachte zumindest TAAT in diesem Jahr Glück. In den letzten beiden Jahren mit Silber dekoriert, wollten sie es dieses Mal wissen und zogen alle Register. Ob sie das im nächsten Jahr bestätigen können, wird sich zeigen.
Silbermedaille
2. Planet 3DNow! (2-2-2-4-2) – Vorjahr: #1
Vom Gejagten zum Jäger hieß es für den Grünen Planeten. Letztes Jahr gelang es noch, TAAT zu schlagen, doch dieses Jahr war dies nicht möglich. Dennoch bleibt ein starkes Team, dem es wieder gelang, sein Potenzial zu mobilisieren und mit dem wir nächstes Jahr wieder rechnen müssen.
Bronzemedaille
3. The Scottish Boinc Team (3-8-3-2-3) – Vorjahr: #3
Schwer einzuschätzen waren die Schotten vor dem Start. Für den Kampf um Gold reichte es nicht und unterm Strich bleibt eine leichte Verschlechterung zum Vorjahr. Der Ausrutscher beim Speer blieb am Ende ohne Folgen, was aber eher an der Konkurrenz lag. Ohne Steigerung könnte es nächstes Jahr eng werden.
4. SETI.Germany (4-3-5-3-4) – Vorjahr: #4
Zwei Bronzemedaillen machten diesen Pentathlon für die Blaugelben zum Erfolg. Doch die Gesamtmedaille blieb ihnen am Ende verwehrt. Der kleine Ausrutscher beim Querfeldein machte das Kraut nicht fett, es fehlt einfach ein Stück. Daran müssen die Deutschen arbeiten, dann klappt's auch wieder mit Edelmetall.
5. [H]ard|OCP (5-5-4-6-5) – Vorjahr: #6
Seit fünf Jahren regelmäßig in den Top 10 legten sie wieder eine grundsolide Leistung an den Tag. Das zeigen die Einzelergebnisse. Bereits im letzten Jahr war dieser Trend zu erkennen, den man jetzt noch ausbauen konnte.
6. Czech National Team (7-4-6-5-6) – Vorjahr: #7
Seit Anbeginn des Pentathlons dabei und ständig in den Top 10 gehören die Tschechen zum Inventar des Wettbewerbs. Beim Speer waren sie nicht weit weg von Edelmetall, welches ihnen auch in diesem Jahr verwehrt blieb. Sie bleiben auch in Zukunft immer ein heißer Kandidaten für die Einzelmedaillen.
7. Rechenkraft.net (6-6-7-7-7) – Vorjahr: #8
Auch in den Top 10 festgesetzt haben sich die Rechenkraftler. Seit 2016 wollen sie da einfach nicht raus. Gegenüber dem letzten Jahr konnten sie sich verbessern, wieder mit einer sehr stabilen Leistung. Für mehr müssen sie aber auch mehr tun.
8. Ukraine (10-7-10-8-12) - Vorjahr: #13
Das beste Ergebnis in der Geschichte des Wettbewerbs ist gerade in der aktuelle Situation eine Glanzleistung, zu der man nur gratulieren kann. Highlight war das Ergebnis beim Speerwerfen, das zwar durch den Stadtlauf aufgewogen wurde, aber dennoch das Potenzial des Teams zeigt.
9. L'Alliance Francophone (9-9-13-10-11) – Vorjahr: #9
Die Allianz hat den Anschluss an die erweiterte Spitze seit 2016 verloren. Ein Jahr vorher holte man die letzte Einzelmedaille. Da die Konkurrenz nicht schläft und immer wieder neue Teams von hinten heranrücken, wird es eine Herausforderung sein, sich weiter in den Top 10 halten zu können.
10. Team China (8-18-9-13-9) – Vorjahr: #25
Sie sind wieder da. Im vergangenen Jahr sehr flügellahm und vorher ein Jahr ausgesetzt, haben die Chinesen sich wieder zurückgemeldet. Noch sind sie nicht so stark wie 2017 oder 2018, aber zumindest haben sie sich wieder gezeigt. Das Potenzial ist weiter da und könnte eine Herausforderung für die Spitze werden.
11. BOINC.Italy (13-16-8-12-13) – Vorjahr: #16
In den letzten Jahren ging es für die Italiener langsam, aber konstant abwärts. Es ist schön zu sehen, dass sie dies jetzt ändern konnten. Für die Top 10 reichte es zwar nicht, doch die beste Platzierung seit 2016 sollte genug Anlass zur Freude bei Wein und Pizza geben.
12. AMD Users (14-13-11-9-18) - Vorjahr: #19
Auch die AMD Users konnten sich verbessern und ihre beste Gesamtplatzierung von 2019 bestätigen. Stadtlauf und Hindernis lagen ihnen nicht wirklich und kosteten Punkte. Für das nächste Jahr hoffe ich, dass sie die gute Leistung bestätigen können.
13. Crunching@EVGA (15-15-12-11-14) – Vorjahr: #14
Einen soliden Pentathlon absolviert und einen Platz gewonnen. Auf den ersten Blick ein gutes Resultat. Allerdings sind drei Teams vorbeigerutscht, die man früher hinter sich halten konnte. Die Konkurrenz wird stärker, das muss zu denken geben. Fürs nächste Jahr wird man sich steigern müssen, sonst besteht die Gefahr eines Abstiegs.
14. Overclock.net (12-14-15-17-10) - Vorjahr: #11
Schwankend waren die Ergebnisse der Overclocker. Der Stadtlauf und Hindernis lagen ihnen, aber beim Sprint ließen sie wieder wichtige Punkte liegen. So mussten auch sie die erstarkten Teams vorbei lassen.
15. Meisterkuehler.de Team (11-12-18-15-19) - Vorjahr: #20
Endlich wieder in den Top 15. Nach guten Jahren lief es seit 2018 nicht mehr ganz so rund. Jetzt gelang wieder eine deutliche Steigerung. Typisch für die Coolen ist die Konzentration auf spezielle Projekte, in diesem Jahr Speer und Hindernis. Da fehlte nicht so viel zu den Top 10. Mal sehen, was nächstes Jahr geht.

Statistik
TAAT reiht sich in die Liste der nun fünf Gesamtsieger ein. P3D wird mit 6 Gesamtsiegen auch weiter diese Statistik anführen, auch weil SETI.USA (3) dem Wettbewerb seit einigen Jahren fernbleibt.
Mit nun 8 einzelnen Goldmedaillen steht nun TAAT auf #3 der Statistik der Disziplinen. P3D (17) und SETI.USA (15) sind aber weit entfernt. Die meisten Silbermedaillen hat weiterhin P3D mit 26 und diese Führung massiv ausbauen können. Dies gilt auch für SG hinsichtlich der Bronzewertung, wo sie nun 14 im Schrank hängen haben.
Und nun? Nach dem Pentathlon ist vor dem Pentathlon.

- Schafft es SG auch mal wieder zu einer Gesamt-Medaille?
- Greift TC nächstes Jahr nach Edelmetall?

Final Report - 19 May 2022 - Follow-up
Ladies and gentlemen, it is over, finished, and done. Please do not look at me like that with your glazed, feverish, and craving eyes. My shelf is empty. Really. There is nothing left. 14 intense doses - 14 intense days. Did you feel the energy - do you still feel it? That is good. Do not just let the effect disappear, but conserve it and use it whenever you want. Remember, this Pentathlon elixir does not work for only a few days. It works whenever you want it to.
Now it is time for me to go. Do not look so sad. Maybe I will be back next year with a new elixir with improved and new ingredients.
Part 1 - Disciplines
Done. The 13th BOINC Pentathlon is over. I hope that you are not too exhausted and the daily elixir has refined your enjoyment. As usual, the evaluation comes in two parts. Part 1 addresses the last disciplines, whereas part 2 focuses on the Overall Standings and statistics.
Javelin Throw (NumberFields@home)
Gold goes to TAAT and silver to P3D. This was already decided and so it was all about bronze. But this was also decided quite fast. SG threw with full power in the last attempt (way too far) and snatched bronze. Congratulations!
CNT (#4) made it too easy for SG, their final throw was lacking in motivation. They obviously did not believe in success any more. [H] dutifully did what they had to do for #5, whereas RKN was already locked in #6 and could skip this throw.
Things got really exciting in #7. Ukraine and TSBT went for a decision with the final throw. Slowly but steadily, the Ukrainian javelin traveled farther and farther until it reached the distance required to bag the deserved 7th rank. The Scots could do nothing more and had to settle for #8.
AF finished in #9, followed by Chinese Dream in #10. Nothing was at stake for either of them on the final day, but behind them, there was a three-way fight for #11. LITOMYSL catapulted themselves into #11 and had Meisterkuehler (#12) in tow. The duo thus stirred up the overrun field behind them a bit.
AMD Users secured #13, while OCN (#14) and EVGA (#15) were able to take it easier. Skipping the final day was no option for BOINC.Italy, 2ch, and TC, as #16 was still at stake. BOINC.Italy snatched it just ahead of 2ch, who thus finished in #17. With half-hearted throws, TC finished only in #18, which does not really reflect the team's potential.
TFFE and BOINC@AUSTRALIA were fighting for #19, and TFFE had the luckier hand. They did what they had to do early in the day; then they just had to wait and see what the Australians would do. And they did too little, although they had the chance. So BOINC@AUSTRALIA had to settle for #20.
The Confederation did not need to invest any more energy, as more than #21 was not possible anyway. For UBT (#22), BOINCstats (#23), BOINC Synergy (#24), Russia (#25), and Crystal Dream (#26), there was nothing more to gain on the final day, as well.
City Run (Einstein@Home)
TAAT emerges as the winner here, as well, and takes the next gold. Silver goes to P3D. Bronze goes to TSBT in Scotland. Congratulations!
Behind them, however, it got much more exciting. And what a final we were served here! SG beat the chasers in a photo finish and took #4. [H] (#5) could only look shocked. CNT (#6) could not follow in the end, as well, even though they gave it their all.
Only #7 remained for RKN. Even though the great final spurt was not enough for a better result, they will still be satisfied. There was no sensation in the end, BOINC@AUSTRALIA had to admit defeat to the concentrated superiority and thus settle for #8.
Behind them, TC secured #9, even though OCN (#10) made a tentative attempt to catch the Chinese in the end. AF was left in #11. Ukraine (#12) was able to finish the race without much pressure, as their lead was already very large.
BOINC.Italy (#13) won the three-way fight behind them in a fabulous photo finish. EVGA (#14) followed only a blink of an eye behind, and 2ch (#15) less than a breath behind. As expected, LITOMYSL (#16) enjoyed this show from behind and could immediately admire the next duel after crossing the finish line. Chinese Dream could only just keep #17. AMD Users came dangerously close in the end, but it still was not enough, and so the hardware faction has to settle for #18. Meisterkuehler followed in #19.
In the three-way fight behind them, the protagonists somehow forgot to fight. UBT (#20), BOINCstats (#21), and BOINC Synergy (#22) crossed the finish line nicely one after the other. There was no real attack to be seen.
TFFE secured #23 with a strong final day and crossed the finish line well ahead of Russia (#24), BC (#25), and Crystal Dream (#26). There were no changes in this three-way fight, either.
Obstacle Run (Universe@Home)
The decision has fallen, TAAT wins the Obstacle Run and thus takes all the gold medals this year. P3D tried everything in the end, went to their limits and beyond, but they end up with silver. TSBT completes the podium, but was not willing or able to intervene in that duel. Congratulations!
SG (#4) and [H] (#5) let it coast, while RKN had to worry about #6 until the end. But CNT (#7) did not attack. TC crossed the finish line flying in #8, dragging AF (#9) along in the dragon's pull. Again, we can welcome Ukraine in the top 10.
With #11, Meisterkuehler took their best rank in a discipline this year and thus surprised OCN (#12), BOINC.Italy (#13), and AMD Users (#14), costing them a few points in the Overall Standings. EVGA crossed the finish line in #15 without any pressure. Chinese Dream in #16 could also let it coast. In a superb #17, TFFE says goodbye to the obstacle course and achieves another good result.
BOINC@AUSTRALIA still had a chance, but did not use it, and thus has to settle for #18. The fight for #19 got more exciting. UBT or 2ch was the question here. And in the end, the Brits secured #19 in a photo finish and relegated 2ch to #20.
LITOMYSL (#21) was able to enjoy this duel at ease, as the Confederation (#22) was too far behind. BOINC Synergy crossed the finish line in #23 and quickly turned around to see the decision behind them. Crystal Dream (#24) won that one. BOINCstats (#25) could not beat the pace of the dreamers in the end. Russia in #26 completed the field.

Journée Finale - 19/05/2022 - Effets persistants
Mesdames et Messieurs, c'est fini, terminé, basta. Ne me regardez pas avec vos yeux vitreux et fiévreux de toxicos. Mon étagère est vide. Vraiment. Je n'ai plus rien. 14 doses intenses - 14 journées intenses. Avez-vous ressenti la puissance - la ressentez-vous encore? Avez-vous senti la force - la sentez-vous encore? C'est bien. Ne laissez pas les effets se dissiper, conservez-les et faites appel à eux quand vous voulez. N'oubliez pas qu'un tel élixir de Pentathlon ne fait pas seulement effet pendant quelques jours, il fait effet à chaque fois que vous en ressentez le besoin.
Il est temps pour moi de m'en aller. Ne soyez pas triste, peut-être que je reviendrai l'année prochaine avec un nouvel élixir, composé de nouveaux et meilleurs ingrédients.
1ère partie - Disciplines
C'est fait. Le 13e BOINC Pentathlon est derrière nous. J'espère que vous n'êtes pas trop fatigués et que l'élixir quotidien en aura affiné le goût. Comme d'habitude, l'analyse se fera en deux parties. La première partie s'occupera des dernières disciplines, la deuxième du classement général et des statistiques.
Lancer de javelot (NumberFields@home)
L'or va à TAAT et l'argent à P3D. C'était déjà acté, il ne s'agissait donc plus que du bronze. Mais ça aussi, ça s'est fait très rapidement. SG a tout mis dans son dernier lancer (bien trop loin) et a décroché la médaille de bronze. Toutes nos félicitations!
CNT (#4) a finalement rendu les choses faciles pour SG, car son dernier lancer manquait sérieusement de motivation. On dirait qu'elle ne croyait plus à son succès. [H] a dûment fait le nécessaire pour se lancer au rang 5, tandis que la 6e place était déjà acquise à RKN qui a donc pu faire l'impasse.
Les choses se sont corsées pour la 7e place: L'Ukraine et TSBT ont cherché à se départager avec le dernier lancer. Lentement mais sûrement, le javelot ukrainien s'envolait de plus en plus loin jusqu'à atteindre la distance nécessaire pour engranger la 7e place bien méritée. Les Écossais n'ont rien pu faire et doivent se satisfaire du rang 8.
L'AF s'est finalement enregistrée à la 9e place, suivie par Chinese Dream au rang 10. Il n'y avait plus rien à gagner pour ces deux équipes en ce dernier jour, mais derrière, nous avons assisté à une bataille pour de la 11e place. LITOMYSL s'est catapultée à la 11e place avec les Meisterkuehler (#12) en remorque. Ce duo a ainsi suscité des remous dans le peloton sur lequel il venait de déferler.
Les AMD Users ont assuré la 13e place, alors qu'OCN (#14) et EVGA (#15) ont pu se la jouer un peu plus cool. Faire l'impasse sur le dernier jour n'était pas une option pour BOINC.Italy, 2ch et TC, après tout, il s'agissait de la 16e place. BOINC.Italy l'a prise tout juste devant 2ch qui est ainsi arrivée 17e. Avec des lancers mi-figue, mi-raisin, TC est seulement arrivée à la 18e place, ce qui ne correspond pas vraiment au potentiel de l'équipe.
TFFE et BOINC@AUSTRALIA ont ensuite cherché à se départager pour la 19e place. TFFE a eu la main plus heureuse: dès potron-minet, elle a fait ce qui devait être fait, puis elle a attendu de voir ce que feraient les Australiens. Et ces derniers n'ont pas fait assez, malgré l'opportunité qui s'offrait à eux. Il ne restait donc que la 20e place pour BOINC@AUSTRALIA.
La Confederation n'avait plus besoin d'investir ses forces, elle ne pouvait de toute façon pas aller au-delà de la 21e place. Il n'y avait plus rien à gagner non plus pour UBT (#22), BOINCstats (#23), BOINC Synergy (#24), Russia (#25) et Crystal Dream (#26) en cette dernière journée.
Course urbaine (Einstein@Home)
Ici aussi, TAAT s'en sort vainqueur et décroche la prochaine médaille d'or. L'argent va à P3D et le bronze va en Écosse, chez TSBT. Toutes nos félicitations!
Derrière, en revanche, c'était beaucoup plus passionnant. Et quelle finale! Il a fallu une photo finish pour voir que SG a écrasé ses poursuivants pour attraper la 4e place. [H] (#5) en était horrifiée. CNT (#6) n'a pas non plus réussi à suivre, bien qu'elle ait tout donné.
Seulement la 7e place pour RKN. Malheureusement, son superbe sprint final ne lui a pas permis d'obtenir un meilleur résultat. Je pense qu'elle sera quand même satisfaite. Finalement, la sensation n'a pas eu lieu, BOINC@AUSTRALIA a dû se rendre à la supériorité concentrée et doit donc se contenter de la 8e place.
Derrière, TC a sécurisé la 9e place, même si OCN (#10) a fini par entreprendre une timide tentative pour rattraper les Chinois. Il ne reste que la 11e place à l'AF. L'Ukraine (#12) a pu finir la course sans grande pression, car son avance était déjà assez grande.
BOINC.Italy (#13) a gagné la triangulaire qui se jouait derrière, mais il a fallu une photo finish. EVGA (#14) ne se trouve qu'à un battement de cil et 2ch (#15) à moins d'un souffle. Comme prévu, LITOMYSL (#16) a profité de ce show de l'arrière et a pu admirer le prochain duel tout de suite après avoir passé la ligne d'arrivée. Chinese Dream est arrivée de justesse à la 17e place. Vers la fin, les AMD Users se sont rapprochés de manière préoccupante, mais cela n'a pas suffi. Il reste donc la 18e place pour la faction matérielle. Les Meisterkuehler suivent au rang 19.
Dans la triangulaire qui suit, les protagonistes ont quelque peu oublié de se battre. UBT (#20), BOINCstats (#21) et BOINC Synergy (#22) ont sagement franchi la ligne d'arrivée les unes derrière les autres. On n'a pas pu déceler de véritable attaque.
Avec une bonne dernière journée, TFFE a réussi à sécuriser la 23e place et est donc arrivée clairement devant Russia (#24), BC (#25) et Crystal Dream (#26). Il n'y a pas eu de changement non plus dans cette triangulaire.
Course d'obstacles (Universe@Home)
Les résultats sont tombés: TAAT remporte la Course d'obstacles et décroche ainsi toutes les médailles d'or de l'année. À la fin, P3D a tout tenté, est allée au-delà de ses limites, mais n'a pas pu dépasser l'argent. Le podium est complété par TSBT, qui n'a pas pu ou voulu intervenir. Toutes nos félicitations!
SG (#4) et [H] (#5) ont fini en roue libre, tandis que RKN a dû craindre pour sa 6e place jusqu'au bout. Mais l'attaque de CNT (#7) n'a pas eu lieu. Le dragon de TC a franchi la ligne d'arrivée à la 8e place en entraînant l'AF (#9) dans son sillage. Et nous pouvons à nouveau accueillir l'Ukraine dans le top10.
Avec leur 11e place, les Meisterkuehler ont décroché leur meilleur classement individuel cette année. Ils ont ainsi surpris OCN (#12), BOINC.Italy (#13) et les AMD Users (#14) et leur ont coûté quelques points au classement général. Au rang 15, nous trouvons EVGA qui a franchi la ligne d'arrivée sans pression. Chinese Dream (#16) a également pu finir en roue libre. TFFE quitte le parcours d'obstacles avec une superbe 17e place et enregistre ainsi un autre bon résultat.
Certes, BOINC@AUSTRALIA avait encore une opportunité, mais elle ne l'a pas saisie et il ne lui reste donc que la 18e place. Il y avait davantage de suspense pour la 19e place: UBT ou 2ch, telle était la question. À la fin, les Britanniques ont remporté la 19e place et renvoyé 2ch au rang 20, mais il a fallu une photo finish.
LITOMYSL (#21) a pu savourer ce duel en toute tranquillité, car la Confederation (#22) était trop loin. BOINC Synergy est arrivée 23e et s'est vite retournée pour suivre la bataille qui se jouait derrière. C'est Crystal Dream (#24) qui l'a remportée. Au final, la vitesse des Rêveurs était imbattable pour BOINCstats (#25). En queue de peloton, nous trouvons Russia au rang 26.
Fin de la 1ère partie - la 2e partie arrive sous peu
Abschlussbericht - 19.05.2022 - Nachspüren
Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, es ist vorbei, aus und vorbei. Bitte schauen Sie mich nicht so mit Ihren glasigen, fiebrigen und süchtigen Augen an. Mein Regal ist leer. Wirklich. Nichts mehr da. 14 intensive Dosen - 14 intensive Tage. Haben Sie die Kraft gespürt - fühlen Sie diese noch? Gut so. Lassen Sie die Wirkung nicht einfach entschwinden, konservieren Sie diese und rufen Sie sie ab, wann immer Sie wollen. Vergessen Sie nicht, so ein Pentathlon-Elixier wirkt nicht nur ein paar Tage. Es wirkt, wann immer Sie es wollen.
Nun wird es Zeit für mich, zu entschwinden. Schauen Sie nicht so traurig. Vielleicht bin ich ja nächstes Jahr wieder da, mit neuem Elixier, mit besseren und neuen Ingredienzien.
Teil 1 - Disziplinen
Geschafft. Der 13. BOINC Pentathlon liegt hinter uns. Ich hoffe, Sie sind nicht zu erschöpft und das tägliche Elixier hat Ihnen den Genuss verfeinert. Wie gewohnt erfolgt die Auswertung in zwei Teilen. Teil 1 nimmt sich den letzten Disziplinen an, Teil 2 kümmert sich um die Gesamtwertung und die Statistik.
Speerwerfen (NumberFields@home)
Gold geht an TAAT und Silber an P3D. Dies stand bereits fest und so ging es noch um Bronze. Doch auch das ging dann recht fix. SG packte alles in den letzten Wurf (viel zu weit) und schnappte sich Bronze. Herzlichen Glückwunsch!
CNT (#4) machte es SG dann doch leicht, der letzte Wurf war recht motivationsarm. Da hat man wohl nicht mehr an den Erfolg geglaubt. [H] tat pflichtschuldig das, was nötig war um #5 zu erwerfen, wogegen RKN bereits als #6 feststand und so auslassen konnte.
Um #7 wurde es dann noch so richtig spannend. Die Ukraine und TSBT suchten die Entscheidung mit dem letzten Wurf. Langsam aber stetig flog der ukrainische Speer immer weiter, bis er die nötige Weite erreicht hatte, um den verdienten 7. Platz einzutüten. Die Schotten konnten da nichts mehr machen und mussten sich mit #8 begnügen.
Platz 9 stand am Ende für AF zu Buche, gefolgt von Chinese Dream auf #10. Für beide ging es am letzten Tag um nichts mehr, doch dahinter gab es dann wieder einen Dreikampf um #11. Hier katapultierte sich LITOMYSL auf #11 und hatte dabei auch die Meisterkuehler (#12) im Schlepptau. Das Duo wirbelte damit das überrollte Feld dahinter etwas auf.
Die AMD Users sicherten sich #13, wogegen es dahinter OCN (#14) und EVGA (#15) geruhsamer angehen lassen konnten. Am Schlusstag auslassen war aber für BOINC.Italy, 2ch und TC keine Option, immerhin ging es um #16. Diesen schnappte sich BOINC.Italy nur knapp vor 2ch, die damit auf #17 kamen. Mit halbherzigen Würfen schafften es TC nur auf #18, was nicht wirklich dem Potential des Teams entspricht.
TFFE und BOINC@AUSTRALIA suchten dann die Entscheidung um #19. Dabei hatte TFFE das glücklichere Händchen. Schon früh am Tage taten sie, was getan werden musste; dann hieß es abwarten, was die Australier tun würden. Und diese taten zu wenig, obwohl sie die Chance hatten. So blieb für BOINC@AUSTRALIA nur #20.
Die Confederation brauchte keine Kraft mehr investieren, mehr als #21 war eh nicht mehr drin. Auch für UBT (#22), BOINCstats (#23), BOINC Synergy (#24), Russia (#25) und Crystal Dream (#26) gab es am Schlusstag nichts mehr zu holen.
Stadtlauf (Einstein@Home)
Auch hier geht TAAT als Sieger hervor und holt sich das nächste Gold. Silber geht an P3D. Nach Schottland geht Bronze zu TSBT. Herzlichen Glückwunsch!
Dahinter wurde es dagegen sehr viel spannender. Und was für ein Finale uns da serviert wurde! Im Fotofinish rang SG die Verfolger nieder und krallte sich #4. Da konnte [H] (#5) nur entsetzt schauen. Auch CNT (#6) konnte da am Ende nicht mehr folgen, obwohl auch sie alles gegeben hatten.
Für RKN reichte es da nur zu #7. Auch wenn der super Schlussspurt nicht mehr für ein besseres Ergebnis reicht, wird man dennoch zufrieden sein. Die Sensation blieb am Ende aus, BOINC@AUSTRALIA musste sich der geballten Übermacht geschlagen geben und so mit #8 zufrieden sein.
Dahinter sicherte TC #9 ab, auch wenn am Ende OCN (#10) einen zaghaften Versuch unternahm, um die Chinesen noch einzufangen. AF blieb da nur noch #11. Ohne großen Druck konnte die Ukraine (#12) das Rennen beenden, da der Vorsprung doch schon sehr groß war.
Den Dreikampf dahinter entschied BOINC.Italy (#13) in einem sagenhaften Fotofinish für sich. Nur einen Wimpernschlag dahinter folgte EVGA (#14) und weniger als einen Atemzug 2ch (#15). Wie erwartet genoss LITOMYSL (#16) diese Show von hinten und konnte nach Zieldurchlauf gleich das nächste Duell bewundern. Chinese Dream konnte sich nur knapp auf #17 ins Ziel retten. Die AMD Users kamen am Ende bedenklich nahe, aber es reichte dennoch nicht, und so bleibt für die Hardwarefraktion #18. Die Meisterkuehler folgten auf #19.
Im Dreikampf dahinter haben die Protagonisten wohl irgendwie das Kämpfen vergessen. Brav trudelten UBT (#20), BOINCstats (#21) und BOINC Synergy (#22) hintereinander im Ziel ein. Ein echter Angriff war nicht auszumachen.
TFFE sicherte mit einem guten letzten Tag #23 ab und kam so deutlich vor Russia (#24), BC (#25) und Crystal Dream (#26) ins Ziel. Auch bei diesem Dreikampf blieben Veränderungen aus.
Hindernislauf (Universe@Home)
Die Entscheidung ist gefallen, den Hindernislauf gewinnt TAAT und holt sich so alle Goldmedaillen in diesem Jahr. P3D versuchte am Ende alles, ging an seine Grenzen und darüber hinaus, doch es blieb bei Silber. Das Podium machte dann TSBT komplett, die nicht mehr eingreifen wollten oder konnten. Herzlichen Glückwunsch!
SG (#4) und [H] (#5) ließen in Ruhe austrudeln, während RKN bis zum Schluss um #6 bangen musste. Aber der Angriff von CNT (#7) blieb aus. Auf #8 flog TC über die Ziellinie, die im Drachensog auch AF (#9) mitgezogen haben. Wieder in den Top 10 können wir dann die Ukraine begrüßen.
Die Meisterkuehler holten mit #11 die beste Einzelplatzierung in diesem Jahr und haben so OCN (#12), BOINC.Italy (#13) und die AMD Users (#14) überrascht und sie so ein paar Punkte in der Gesamtwertung gekostet. Auf #15 finden wir EVGA, die ohne Druck durchs Ziel liefen. Auch Chinese Dream auf #16 konnte deshalb in Ruhe austrudeln. Mit einem super #17 verabschiedet sich TFFE vom Hindernisparcour und fährt damit ein weiteres gutes Ergebnis ein.
BOINC@AUSTRALIA hatte zwar noch eine Chance, nutze diese aber nicht und so bleibt #18. Um #19 wurde es da schon spannender. UBT oder 2ch war hier die Frage. Und die Briten sicherten sich am Ende im Fotofinish #19 und verwiesen 2ch auf #20.
LITOMYSL (#21) konnte dieses Duell in Ruhe genießen, denn die Confederation (#22) war zu weit weg. Auf #23 ging BOINC Synergy durchs Ziel, um sich schnell umzudrehen und die Entscheidung dahinter zu verfolgen. Diese entschied Crystal Dream (#24) für sich. Das Tempo der Träumer war am Ende für BOINCstats (#25) nicht schlagbar. Das Feld beschloss Russia auf #26.

Day 14 - 18 May 2022 - 14th Dose
Ladies and gentlemen, please do not push. There is enough for everyone! Our mixture of javelin, City Run, and obstacle once again ensures a full stimulation. You will feel the slightly stronger touch of City Run, whereas obstacle and javelin are less dominant, but still slowly unfold their effect. Enjoy this last dose so that you feel the positive after-effects from tomorrow.
Javelin Throw (NumberFields@home)
Here the decision is underway and it looks like the teams want to make everything clear early on. I only selectively look at this decision today, and will honor every rank again tomorrow.
SG has already secured #3 and relegated CNT to #4. The Germans have to work on their timing, as they have always needed four throws for years and thus waste valuable energy that they need elsewhere.
[H] also did what they had to for securing #5. Meanwhile, the fight for ranks 7-9 is still on. TSBT, Ukraine, and AF are still looking for a decision, with AF being only able to watch and Ukraine being able to get to the top on their own.
As expected, LITOMYSL (#11) and Meisterkuehler (#12) moved out of the basement with their throw today. Behind them, it is still close, although OCN (#13) and EVGA (#14) are making no effort to throw until now. AMD Users (#15) and BOINC.Italy (#16) could still take advantage of this.
It is also not clear yet between 2ch and TC who will take #17. Both are throwing today, but it remains to be seen who can improve. Behind them, TFFE (#19) have done everything they had to do today and now have to wait and see what BOINC@AUSTRALIA (#20) does. The Australians still have it in their hands to move up one rank.
City Run (Einstein@Home)
While the podium is probably clear (TAAT, P3D, TSBT), the ranks behind are still being fought over. Ranks 4-8 will be decided between CNT, [H], RKN, SG, and BOINC@AUSTRALIA. Here the final spurt will decide everything.
TC, OCN, and AF continue to fight for #9, with the Chinese currently in the best position. EVGA and BOINC.Italy still have to agree who will finish in #13. The same is true for 2ch and LITOMYSL and #15.
Chinese Dream is not completely safe in #17 yet, as the AMD Users are still close enough to burst dreams. UBT and BOINCstats are fighting for #20, as do BOINC Synergy and TFFE for #22 behind them. And who will finish in #24 will be decided between Russia, BC, and Crystal Dream.
Obstacle Run (Universe@Home)
It is the nature of this long discipline that the gaps are larger here at the end. The fact that particularly the race for the win is still open delights the heart of the spectator and raises the pulse of the involved participants to unimagined heights. TAAT or P3D, that is the question here. Who will bag gold? The next hours will decide. And let us not forget TSBT, as they are not quite out of the race, either.
Behind them, the ranks seem clear. Attacks are still possible, but should have only a limited size after the last bonus day. I therefore do not really expect any changes. Maybe in #19, currently occupied by UBT. 2ch (#20) could still do something here. Or in #24, where Crystal Dream is trying hard to fend off BOINCstats (#25).
Overall Standings
Only a short look here, as well (otherwise I have nothing more to do tomorrow). With the final attempt at the Javelin Throw, the Overall Standings have sorted themselves out as well. TAAT, P3D, and TSBT are about to climb the podium. While SG has to settle for #4, CNT (#5) and [H] (#6) are still fighting for rank 5.
Ukraine has a good chance to keep #8, as they still have room for improvement with the javelin. OCN (#13) and AMD Users (#14) are currently tied on points. This constellation is also found between LITOMYSL (#18) and Chinese Dream (#19), and promises excitement until the end.
We are in the final hours of the 13th BOINC Pentathlon. Not all the dice have been cast yet. We are ready for an exciting final phase that will also answer the final questions.

Jour 14 - 18/05/2022 - 14e dose
Mesdames et Messieurs, ne vous bousculez pas. Il y en aura pour tout le monde! Notre mélange javelot/course urbaine/obstacle vous apportera une fois de plus une stimulation globale. Vous sentirez la note légèrement plus forte de course urbaine, tandis que les notes d'obstacle et de javelot sembleront moins dominantes tout en exprimant lentement leur effet. Savourez cette dernière dose afin d'en ressentir les effets positifs à partir de demain.
Lancer de javelot (NumberFields@home)
C'est la dernière ligne droite et il semblerait que les équipes veulent clarifier les choses de bonne heure. Je ne regarderai les résultats que ponctuellement pour faire de nouveau honneur à chaque place demain.
SG a déjà entériné la 3e place et renvoyé CNT au rang 4. Les Allemands doivent vraiment travailler leur timing: depuis des années, il leur faut quatre lancers et ils gaspillent ainsi une précieuse force dont ils ont besoin ailleurs.
[H] a également fait le strict nécessaire pour assurer la 5e place. En attendant, ça se bagarre encore pour les places 7-9. TSBT, l'Ukraine et l'AF cherchent encore une résolution, sachant que l'AF ne peut que regarder et que l'Ukraine peut encore prendre la tête par ses propres moyens.
Comme prévu, LITOMYSL (#11) et les Meisterkuehler (#12) ont fait un lancer qui les a sorties du fond du classement. Derrière, c'est toujours serré, mais OCN (#13) et EVGA (#14) ne font pour l'heure aucun effort pour lancer leur javelot. Les AMD Users (#15) et BOINC.Italy (#16) pourraient encore en profiter.
Il n’est pas clair non plus de savoir laquelle entre 2ch et TC prendra la 17e place. Toutes deux lancent aujourd'hui, mais il reste à deviner laquelle pourra s'améliorer. Derrière, TFFE (#19) a fait le nécessaire et doit maintenant attendre de voir ce que fera BOINC@AUSTRALIA (#20). Le gain d'une place est entre les mains des Australiens.
Course urbaine (Einstein@Home)
Tandis que le podium semble clair (TAAT, P3D, TSBT), on se bat encore pour les places derrière. Les rangs 4 à 8 devraient se jouer entre CNT, [H], RKN, SG et BOINC@AUSTRALIA. C'est le sprint final qui sera décisif.
TC, OCN et l'AF continuent à se battre pour la 9e place, mais ce sont les Chinois qui ont actuellement la patate. EVGA et BOINC.Italy doivent encore se mettre d'accord pour savoir laquelle des deux sera 13e, tout comme 2ch et LITOMYSL qui se chamaillent pour la 15e place.
Chinese Dream (#17) n'est pas vraiment en sécurité, car les AMD Users sont encore suffisamment proches pour briser leurs rêves. UBT et BOINCstats se disputent pour la 20e place et, derrière, BOINC Synergy et TFFE pour la 21e. Russia, BC et Crystal Dream devraient s'accorder sur celle qui passera la ligne d'arrivée en 24e.
Course d'obstacles (Universe@Home)
Il est dans la nature de la discipline que les écarts soient plus grands en fin de parcours. Le fait que la victoire soit encore incertaine met du baume au cœur des spectateurs et fait monter les pulsations des participants à des sommets insoupçonnés. TAAT ou P3D, telle est la question. Qui pourra empocher l'or? Les prochaines heures seront décisives. Et n'oublions pas TSBT qui n'est pas vraiment hors-jeu.
Derrière, les positions semblent claires. Des attaques sont possibles, mais après la dernière journée bonus elles devraient être plutôt limitées. Je n'attends donc pas trop de changements. Peut-être au rang 19 où se trouve actuellement UBT. 2ch (#20) pourrait encore gagner quelque chose ici. Ou au rang 24 où Crystal Dream s'efforce de repousser BOINCstats (#25).
Classement général
Juste un bref regard ici (sinon je n'aurai plus rien à faire demain). Le dernier Lancer de javelot a également fait le tri dans le classement général. TAAT, P3D et TSBT sont sur le point d'accéder au podium. Alors que SG doit se satisfaire de la 4e place, CNT (#5) et [H] (#6) se battent encore pour la 5e.
L'Ukraine a de bonnes chances de garder la 8e place, car elle a encore du potentiel pour progresser au Javelot. Actuellement OCN (#13) et AMD Users (#14) sont ex æquo. Nous retrouvons cette même configuration entre LITOMYSL (#18) et Chinese Dream (#19), ce qui nous promet du suspense jusqu'au bout.
Les dernières heures du 13e BOINC Pentathlon sont en cours. Tous les dés ne sont pas encore jetés. Nous sommes prêts pour une passionnante phase finale qui devra répondre aux dernières questions.

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, bitte nicht drängeln. Es ist genug für alle da! Unsere Mischung aus Speer, Stadtlauf und Hindernis sorgt wieder für eine umfassende Belebung. Sie werden die etwas stärkere Note von Stadtlauf spüren, während Hindernis und Speer weniger dominant wirken, aber dennoch langsam ihre Wirkung entfalten. Genießen Sie diese letzte Dosis, so dass Sie ab morgen die positiven Nachwirkungen spüren.
Speerwerfen (NumberFields@home)
Hier läuft die Entscheidung und es sieht so aus, dass die Teams bereits früh alles klar machen wollen. Ich schaue mir diese Entscheidung heute nur punktuell an, um morgen jeden Platz wieder zu würdigen.
SG hat bereits jetzt #3 klar gemacht und damit CNT auf #4 verwiesen. Die Deutschen müssen endlich mal an ihrem Timing arbeiten, seit Jahren brauchen sie immer vier Würfe und vergeuden damit wertvolle Kraft, die sie woanders nötig haben.
[H] hat auch das nötigste getan, um #5 abzusichern. Um die Plätze 7-9 wird derweil noch gerungen. TSBT, Ukraine und AF suchen da noch die Entscheidung, wobei AF nur zuschauen kann und die Ukraine aus eigener Kraft sich hier an die Spitze setzen kann.
LITOMYSL (#11) und die Meisterkuehler (#12) haben sich heute wie erwartet aus dem Keller geworfen. Dahinter ist es weiterhin knapp, wobei OCN (#13) und EVGA (#14) bisher keine Anstalten machen, um zu werfen. Dies könnten die AMD Users (#15) und BOINC.Italy (#16) noch ausnutzen.
Auch zwischen 2ch und TC ist noch nicht geklärt, wer #17 einnehmen wird. Beide werfen heute, aber es bleibt noch offen, wem eine Steigerung möglich ist. Dahinter hat TFFE (#19) heute alles notwendige getan und muss jetzt abwarten was BOINC@AUSTRALIA (#20) macht. Die Australier haben es noch in der Hand einen Platz nach vorn zu rücken.
Stadtlauf (Einstein@Home)
Während das Podium wohl klar ist (TAAT, P3D, TSBT), wird um die Plätze dahinter noch gerungen. Die Plätze 4 bis 8 werden CNT, [H], RKN, SG und BOINC@AUSTRALIA unter sich ausmachen. Hier wird der Endspurt alles entscheiden.
Um #9 balgen sich weiter TC, OCN und AF, wobei die Chinesen derzeit am besten drauf sind. EVGA und BOINC.Italy müssen sich noch einigen, wer auf #13 durchs Ziel geht, ebenso wie 2ch und LITOMYSL, wo es um #15 geht.
Gänzlich sicher ist Chinese Dream auf #17 auch nicht, die AMD Users sind noch nah genug dran, um Träume platzen zu lassen. UBT und BOINCstats rangeln um #20 und dahinter BOINC Synergy und TFFE um #22. Und wer am Ende auf #24 durchs Ziel geht, werden Russia, BC und Crystal Dream unter sich ausmachen.
Hindernislauf (Universe@Home)
Es liegt in der Natur der Disziplin, dass am Ende hier die Abstände größer sind. Dass gerade der Sieg noch offen ist, erfreut das Herz des Zuschauers und bringt den Puls der Beteiligten in ungeahnte Höhen. TAAT oder P3D, das ist hier die Frage. Wer kann Gold einsacken? Die nächsten Stunden werden entscheiden. Und vergessen wir TSBT nicht, so ganz raus sind sie auch nicht.
Dahinter scheinen die Positionen klar. Attacken sind möglich, aber nach dem letzten Bonustag dürften diese nur eine begrenzte Größe haben. Daher erwarte ich kaum noch Veränderungen. Vielleicht auf #19, wo derzeit UBT läuft. Hier könnte 2ch (#20) noch etwas erreichen. Oder auf #24, wo Crystal Dream bemüht ist, BOINCstats (#25) abzuwehren.
Gesamtwertung
Auch hier nur kurzer Blick (sonst habe ich morgen nichts mehr zu tun). Mit dem letzten Speerwurf hat sich auch die Gesamtwertung sortiert. TAAT, P3D und TSBT stehen davor, das Podium zu erklimmen. Während SG sich mit #4 zufrieden geben muss, kämpfen CNT (#5) und [H] (#6) noch um Rang 5.
Die Ukraine hat gute Chancen, #8 zu halten, denn beim Speer gibt es ja noch Verbesserungspotential. Punktgleich sind derzeit OCN (#13) und AMD Users (#14) unterwegs. Diese Konstellation findet sich auch zwischen LITOMYSL (#18) und Chinese Dream (#19) wieder und verspricht Spannung bis zum Schluss.
Die letzten Stunden des 13. BOINC Pentathlon laufen. Noch sind nicht alle Würfel gefallen. Wir sind bereit für eine spannende Schlussphase, damit auch die letzten Fragen geklärt werden.

Day 13 - 17 May 2022 - 13th Dose
Ladies and gentlemen, please do not push. I know that time is running out, soon our cure for body and soul will be over. With today's combination of Obstacle Run and City Run, you can relax a little, before it comes to a climax tomorrow with a pinch of javelin again. Let yesterday's dose still resonate and take the dose for today.
Javelin Throw (NumberFields@home)
As expected, TAAT secured gold with the javelin and P3D nailed silver firmly to the tree. Both now do not need to do anything tomorrow and can focus their energy on the other two disciplines.
SG (#3), on the other hand, has to do extra time. The Germans made it exciting whether they would throw far enough yesterday. In the end, their javelin landed almost on the spot to edge out CNT (#4) and especially [H] (#16). However, [H] threw away the fight for the medal yesterday. Apparently they did not believe in it any more and so now can move on to the remaining disciplines tomorrow. SG and CNT have to do extra time, tomorrow's throw will decide here.
Expectedly, RKN (#5) had to say goodbye to the podium, but this will not grieve the Rechenkrafties. [H] will probably still pass them, but that is it. For AF, #6 is just a temporary stop, as Ukraine (#7), TSBT (#15), and [H] will probably still pass.
It is also still open who will take the final spot in the top 10. Chinese Dream (#8) has the best cards here, but has to do some work for it tomorrow. The reason for that is LITOMYSL (#24), who can make a giant leap with a good throw tomorrow, at least to #11.
Behind them, the field is a bit confusing. OCN (#9), EVGA (#10), AMD Users (#11), BOINC.Italy (#12), 2ch (#13), and TC (#14) are quite close together. We have to wait and see how the final day will go, who will throw at all, and how far.
BOINC@AUSTRALIA (#17) has skipped yesterday and now has to act tomorrow, as otherwise TFFE (#18) is threatening to pass. The Confederation did what they had to do yesterday and defended #19 for now. However, please do not forget that LITOMYSL will still overtake them.
This will probably also be true for Meisterkuehler. Currently in #20, they could still end up close to the top 10 heranwerfen. UBT (#21) skipped yesterday and thus lost the chance to attack the Confederation. However, the Brits have nothing to lose any more. BOINCstats (#22) and BOINC Synergy (#23) are too far away. Russia is safely in #25, as is Crystal Dream in #26.
Obstacle Run (Universe@Home)
The last bonus day has probably clarified the battle lines. There were no major shifts. The question now remains whether the teams maintain their pace here or concentrate on the other disciplines.
Rarely does it get exciting at the top on the long track at this point of the race. However, this time this is the case. TAAT is still leading, but P3D is coming closer and closer. It remains to be seen whether the Green Planet can still strike here. TSBT (#3) is lagging behind a bit, it is hard to tell if they can still catch up.
SG is still in #4, but cannot feel too safe any more, because [H] (#5) is getting closer. RKN in #6 appears safe, as do CNT in #7 and TC in #8. AF (#9) has nothing to fear from behind, as they stumbled to a decent lead over Ukraine (#10).
Meisterkuehler will probably be satisfied with #11, although it is still unclear whether OCN (#12) can and will chance this. BOINC.Italy (#13) and AMD Users (#14) are also not too far behind, so this is not decided quite yet.
Unless Chinese Dream (#16) still ignites a rocket, EVGA should be safe in #15. Behind them, we find two duels that will probably last until the finish. TFFE (#17) and BOINC@AUSTRALIA (#18) on the one hand, and UBT (#19) and 2ch (#20) on the other hand are close together, so you should keep an eye here, my dear reader.
LITOMYSL (#21), BC (#22), and BOINC Synergy (#23) do not threaten each other at the moment, and there are no signs that this will change. The situation is different between Crystal Dream (#24) and BOINCstats (#25), where everything is still possible.
City Run (Einstein@Home)
Here, the teams are currently struggling with the pitfalls of the track. While it used to be rock-stable for many years, it is putting the participants to the test this year as well. TAAT continues to lead clearly ahead of P3D and TSBT. The chances that there will still be changes in this order are difficult, but not impossible.
BOINC@AUSTRALIA (#4) is now under pressure, because CNT (#5) is pushing hard and left [H] (#6), SG (#7), and RKN (#8) standing. Particularly [H] and SG will surely fight back. It is very close between OCN (#9) and TC (#10), with AF (#11) also still within striking distance. Ukraine is running in #12 and managed to outrun EVGA (#13), BOINC.Italy (#14), and 2ch (#15). But this does not bother the trio at the moment, as they just have eyes for each other.
The same is true for LITOMYSL (#16), Chinese Dream (#17), and AMD Users (#18). And while you are plowing through the field with your binoculars, feel free to take a look at the battle ground behind them. It is still very close here, as well, and there can be all sorts of entertaining shifts: Meisterkuehler have recently taken #19 and are now trying to outrun BOINCstats (#20), UBT (#21), TFFE (#22), and BOINC Synergy (#23).
The fight for #24 is also worth a look. Russia (#24) currently has the best cards here, but can feel the breath of BC (#25) and Crystal Dream (#26).
Overall Standings
We are in the final hours and some things are still unclear. Only the Javelin Throw tomorrow will iron out one or the other fuzziness in the rankings. While TAAT is on the verge of overall victory and silver is already smiling temptingly at P3D, bronze still has to find a new owner (or vise versa?).
TSBT (#3) has the best cards here, as they will probably still score at the Javelin Throw tomorrow, which makes it quite difficult for SG (#4) to use the minimal chance. CNT (#5) cannot get in there any more, but probably [H] (#7) can, as they can also make gains at the Javelin Throw tomorrow. This could lead to RKN (#6) dropping to their usual seventh rank.
The fight for #8 will probably be decided between Ukraine and AF gehen, although TC (#10) still has at least a theoretical chance. Behind them, the gaps are still close and there will certainly be shifts. Currently hot pairings include BOINC.Italy and EVGA (for #11), OCN and AMD Users (for #13 or even also for #11?), Chinese Dream and Meisterkuehler (for #17), TFFE and LITOMYSL (for #19 or even more?), UBT and BC (for #21), and finally BOINC Synergy and Russia (for #24).
The stage is set. The teams are ready. The final is upon us. But how will it end?

Jour 13 - 17/05/2022 - 13e dose
Mesdames et Messieurs, s'il vous plaît, ne poussez pas! Je sais que le temps presse, notre cure pour le corps et l'esprit touche bientôt à sa fin. La combinaison obstacle/course urbaine du jour vous permettra de vous apaiser avant de retrouver l'extase demain, avec une pincée de javelot. Profitez de l'effet prolongé de la dose d'hier et avalez celle d'aujourd'hui.
Lancer de javelot (NumberFields@home)
Comme prévu, TAAT a assuré l'or au Lancer de javelot, et P3D a cloué l'argent sur un arbre. Aucune des deux n'a d'effort à fournir demain et peut concentrer ses forces sur les deux autres disciplines.
En revanche, SG (#3) doit se remettre à niveau. Hier, les Allemands se demandaient encore s'ils allaient lancer assez loin. Au final, ils ont presque fait un atterrissage de précision pour évincer CNT (#4) et surtout [H] (#16). Toutefois, [H] a renoncé à se battre pour une médaille hier. Apparemment, elle n'y croyait plus et pourra donc se jeter sur les disciplines restantes demain. SG et CNT, quant à elles, sont en retenue: le lancer de demain sera décisif.
RKN (#5) a dû quitter le podium comme prévu, mais cela ne devrait pas la chagriner. Certes, [H] devrait encore lui passer devant, mais ce sera tout. Pour l'AF, la 6e place n'est qu'un intermède, l'Ukraine (#7), TSBT (#15) et [H] devraient encore la doubler.
On ne sait pas non plus qui remportera la dernière place du top10. Chinese Dream (#8) a le meilleur jeu, mais elle devra encore faire un effort demain, car, avec un bon lancer, LITOMYSL (#24) pourrait faire un sacré bond en avant demain, au moins jusqu'à la 11e place.
Derrière, le peloton est un peu confus. OCN (#9), EVGA (#10), AMD Users (#11), BOINC.Italy (#12), 2ch (#13) et TC (#14) sont au coude à coude. Nous devons attendre de voir comment se passera la dernière journée, qui va lancer et à quelle distance.
BOINC@AUSTRALIA (#17) a fait l'impasse hier et devra se bouger demain, sinon TFFE (#18) menace de doubler. La Confederation a fait le nécessaire hier et a défendu sa 19e place. Mais n'oublions pas que LITOMYSL va encore lui passer devant.
Cela devrait aussi s'appliquer aux Meisterkuehler: actuellement à la 20e place, ils pourraient remonter jusqu'au top10. UBT (#21) n'a pas joué hier et a ainsi gâché l'opportunité d'attaquer la Confederation. Mais les Britanniques n'ont plus rien à perdre: BOINCstats (#22) et BOINC Synergy (#23) sont trop loin. Russia est sûre de la 25e place, tout comme Crystal Dream de la 26e.
Course d'obstacles (Universe@Home)
La dernière journée bonus semble avoir clarifié les fronts. Il n'y a plus eu de gros changements. Reste à savoir si les équipes maintiendront leur vitesse ici ou si elles se concentreront sur les autres disciplines.
Il est rare qu'il y ait encore du suspense en tête de course sur la longue distance. Cette fois-ci, c'est pourtant le cas. Certes, TAAT mène toujours, mais P3D approche de plus en plus. Il faut voir si la Planète verte frappera encore un grand coup. TSBT (#3) est un peu en retrait, difficile à dire si c'est rattrapable.
SG continue la course à la 4e place, mais elle ne peut plus se sentir en sécurité, car [H] (#5) s'est beaucoup rapprochée. RKN semble assurée de la 6e place, tout comme CNT de la 7e et TC de la 8e. L'AF (#9) n'a rien à craindre de l'arrière, elle a pris une bonne avance sur l'Ukraine (#10).
On dirait que les Meisterkuehler se contenteront de la 11e place, même s'il n'est pas encore clair si OCN (#12) peut et va encore changer cela. BOINC.Italy (#13) et les AMD Users (#14) ne sont pas si loin non plus. La messe n'est donc pas encore dite.
À moins que Chinese Dream (#16) n'allume une fusée, EVGA devrait être assurée de la 15e place. Derrière, nous trouvons deux duels qui devraient persister jusqu'à l'arrivée: TFFE (#17) et BOINC@AUSTRALIA (#18), d'une part, et UBT (#19) et 2ch (#20), d'autre part, courent côte à côte de sorte que vos yeux devraient aussi s'y attarder, chers lecteurs.
LITOMYSL (#21), BC (#22) et BOINC Synergy (#23) ne se font pas de mal actuellement et il n'y a aucun signe indiquant que ça va changer. Les choses sont différentes entre Crystal Dream (#24) et BOINCstats (#25) où tout est encore possible.
Course urbaine (Einstein@Home)
Les équipes se battent en ce moment contre les embûches du parcours. Pendant de longues années, cette discipline était comme un roc dans la tourmente, mais cette année, elle met les participants à l'épreuve. TAAT continue à mener clairement devant P3D et TSBT. Les chances que cet ordre soit encore chamboulé sont plutôt faibles, mais pas impossibles.
Mais BOINC@AUSTRALIA (#4) est désormais sous pression, car CNT (#5) accélère plein pot et a déjà laissé [H] (#6), SG (#7) et RKN (#8) sur le bas-côté. Je pense que surtout [H] et SG devraient encore riposter.
Les choses sont super-serrées entre OCN (#9) et TC (#10), sachant que l'AF (#11) est aussi à portée de tir. Au rang 12, nous trouvons l'Ukraine qui a réussi à se détacher de EVGA (#13), BOINC.Italy (#14) et 2ch (#15). Pour l'heure, ça ne dérange pas cette triade qui n'a d'yeux que pour elle-même.
C'est pareil pour LITOMYSL (#16), Chinese Dream (#17) et AMD Users (#18). Et puisque vous passez déjà le peloton en revue avec vos jumelles, vous pouvez aussi inspecter la troupe de combat qui se trouve derrière. Là aussi, les choses sont serrées et nous pourrons encore assister à pas mal de changements amusants: les Meisterkuehler viennent tout juste de conquérir la 19e place et tentent maintenant de se détacher de BBOINCstats (#20), UBT (#21), TFFE (#22) et BOINC Synergy (#23).
La bagarre pour la 24e place vaut également le coup d'œil: Russia (#24) a le meilleur jeu pour l'instant, mais BC (#25) et Crystal Dream (#26) ne sont qu'à un souffle.
Classement général
Les dernières heures sont en cours et bien des choses ne sont pas encore claires. Il faudra le Lancer de javelot de demain pour lisser certains plis du classement. Tandis que TAAT s'assure la victoire au général et que P3D sourit déjà de manière séduisante à l'argent, le bronze doit encore se trouver un nouveau récipiendaire (ou l'inverse?).
TSBT (#3) détient probablement les meilleures cartes, car elle devrait encore faire des points au Javelot demain. Il sera donc difficile pour SG (#4) de profiter de cette chance minime. CNT (#5) ne pourra plus s'immiscer, mais si ça se trouve [H] (#7) le pourra, car elle peut encore s'améliorer au Javelot. En conséquence, RKN (#6) pourrait retomber à son habituelle septième place.
La 8e place devrait se jouer entre l'Ukraine et l'AF, sachant que TC (#10) a au moins des chances théoriques. Derrière, les écarts sont toujours serrés et il y aura certainement des changements. BOINC.Italy et EVGA (pour la 11e place), OCN et AMD Users (pour la 13e voire la 11e place?), Chinese Dream et Meisterkuehler (pour la 17e place), TFFE et LITOMYSL (pour la 19e place voire plus?), UBT et BC (pour la 21e place) et pour finir BOINC Synergy et Russia (pour la 24e place) sont actuellement des paires brûlantes.
Le sol est préparé. Les équipes sont prêtes. La finale est à nos portes. Mais comment se terminera-t-elle?

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, bitte nicht drängeln. Ich weiß, es wird langsam knapp, bald ist unsere Kur für Körper und Geist zu Ende. Mit der heutigen Kombi aus Hindernis- und Stadtlauf können Sie etwas zur Ruhe kommen, bevor es morgen wieder mit einer Prise Speer zum Höhepunkt kommt. Lassen Sie die gestrige Dosis noch nachwirken und nehmen Sie Dosis des Tages auf.
Speerwerfen (NumberFields@home)
Wie erwartet hat beim Speer TAAT Gold sicher gemacht und P3D Silber fest an den Baum genagelt. Beide brauchen nun morgen nichts mehr tun und können ihre Kräfte auf die beiden anderen Disziplinen konzentrieren.
SG (#3) muss dagegen nachsitzen. Die Deutschen machten es gestern noch spannend, ob sie denn weit genug werfen würden. Am Ende haben sie fast eine Punktlandung hingelegt, um CNT (#4) und vor allem [H] (#16) auszustechen. Allerdings hat [H] den Kampf um die Medaille gestern weggeworfen, scheinbar glaubte man nicht mehr daran und kann sich so morgen auf die verbleibenden Disziplinen stürzen. Für SG und CNT heißt es nachsitzen, hier wird der morgige Wurf entscheiden.
Erwartungsgemäß musste sich RKN (#5) vom Podium verabschieden, aber das wird die Rechenkraftler nicht grämen. Zwar wird [H] wohl noch vorbeigehen, aber das war es dann auch schon. Für AF ist #6 nur eine Zwischenstation, die Ukraine (#7), TSBT (#15) und [H] werden wohl noch vorbeigehen.
Wer den letzten Platz in den Top 10 erringen wird, ist auch noch offen. Chinese Dream (#8) hat hier die besten Karten, muss aber dafür morgen was tun. Der Grund ist LITOMYSL (#24), die mit einem guten Wurf morgen einen kräftigen Sprung machen können, mindestens auf Platz 11.
Dahinter ist das Feld etwas unübersichtlich. OCN (#9), EVGA (#10), AMD Users (#11), BOINC.Italy (#12), 2ch (#13) und TC (#14) liegen recht eng beieinander. Hier müssen wir abwarten, wie der letzte Tag verläuft, wer überhaupt wirft und wie weit.
BOINC@AUSTRALIA (#17) hat gestern ausgelassen und muss nun morgen ran, ansonsten droht TFFE (#18) vorbeizugehen. Die Confederation hat gestern getan, was nötig war, und erstmal #19 verteidigt. Allerdings bitte nicht vergessen, dass LITOMYSL hier noch vorbeigehen wird.
Das wird wohl auch auf die Meisterkuehler zutreffen. Derzeit auf #20 könnten sie sich noch an die Top 10 heranwerfen. UBT (#21) hat gestern ausgelassen und damit die Chance vertan, die Confederation noch angreifen zu können. Zu verlieren haben die Briten aber auch nichts mehr. BOINCstats (#22) und BOINC Synergy (#23) sind zu weit weg. Russia hat #25 sicher, ebenso wie Crystal Dream #26.
Hindernislauf (Universe@Home)
Der letzte Bonustag hat wohl die Fronten geklärt. Große Verschiebungen gab es nicht mehr. Es bleibt nun die Frage, ob die Teams hier ihr Tempo halten oder sich auf die anderen Disziplinen konzentrieren.
Selten wird es auf der Langstrecke an der Spitze noch spannend. Dieses Mal ist es aber so. TAAT führt zwar noch, doch P3D rückt immer näher heran. Es bleibt abzuwarten, ob der Grüne Planet hier noch zuschlägt. TSBT (#3) hängt da etwas zurück, schwer einzuschätzen, ob das noch aufholbar ist.
SG ist weiter auf #4 unterwegs, kann sich aber seiner Sache nicht mehr ganz sicher sein, denn [H] (#5) ist kräftig näher gekommen. RKN auf #6 scheint sicher, wie auch CNT auf #7 und TC auf #8. Von hinten nichts zu befürchten hat AF (#9), die einen ordentlichen Vorsprung auf die Ukraine (#10) herausgestolpert haben.
Mit #11 werden die Meisterkuehler wohl zufrieden sein, auch wenn noch unklar ist, ob OCN (#12) das noch ändern kann und wird. Auch BOINC.Italy (#13) und AMD Users (#14) sind nicht so weit weg, so dass auch hier noch nicht alle Messen gesungen sind.
Wenn nicht Chinese Dream (#16) noch die Rakete zündet, sollte EVGA #15 sicher haben. Dahinter finden wir zwei Duelle, die wohl bis zum Zieldurchlauf bestehen werden. TFFE (#17) und BOINC@AUSTRALIA (#18) einerseits und andererseits UBT (#19) und 2ch (#20) laufen eng beieinander, so dass hier auch Ihr Auge verweilen sollte, meine sehr geehrter Leser.
LITOMYSL (#21), BC (#22) und BOINC Synergy (#23) tun sich aktuell nichts und es gibt keine Anzeichen, dass sich das noch ändert. Anders sieht das zwischen Crystal Dream (#24) und BOINCstats (#25) aus, wo noch alles möglich ist.
Stadtlauf (Einstein@Home)
Hier kämpfen die Teams derzeit mit den Tücken der Strecke. Lange Jahre ein Fels in der Brandung, stellt sie die Teilnehmer in diesem Jahr auch mal auf die Probe. TAAT führt hier weiter klar vor P3D und TSBT. Die Chancen, dass sich an dieser Reihenfolge noch etwas ändert, sind eher schwierig, aber nicht unmöglich.
Unter Druck kommt aber nun BOINC@AUSTRALIA (#4), da CNT (#5) voll auf die Tube drückt und so [H] (#6), SG (#7) und RKN (#8) stehengelassen haben. Vor allem [H] und SG werden sicher noch zurückschlagen. Hauteng geht es zwischen OCN (#9) und TC (#10) zu, wobei auch AF (#11) noch in Schlagdistanz ist. Auf #12 läuft die Ukraine, die aber EVGA (#13), BOINC.Italy (#14) und 2ch (#15) abhängen konnte. Das stört das Trio aber derzeit nicht, sie haben nur Augen füreinander.
Genauso ist es dahinter bei LITOMYSL (#16), Chinese Dream (#17) und AMD Users (#18). Und wenn Sie schon mal dabei sind, Ihren Feldstecher durch das Feld zu pflügen, können Sie gern auch die Kampfgruppe dahinter in Augenschein nehmen. Auch hier geht es noch eng zu und es kann zu allerlei unterhaltsamen Verschiebungen kommen: Die Meisterkuehler haben jüngst #19 errungen und versuchen nun, BOINCstats (#20), UBT (#21), TFFE (#22) und BOINC Synergy (#23) abzuhängen.
Auch der Fight um #24 lohnt einen Blick. Russia (#24) hat hier derzeit die besten Karten, aber BC (#25) und Crystal Dream (#26) sind nur einen Hauch weg.
Gesamtwertung
Die finalen Stunden laufen und noch ist einiges unklar. Erst der morgige Speer wird noch die eine oder andere Unschärfe im Klassement geradebügeln. Während TAAT vor dem Gesamtsieg steht und P3D Silber bereits verführerisch anlächelt, muss sich Bronze noch einen neuen Besitzer suchen (oder umgekehrt?).
Wobei TSBT (#3) da die besten Karten hat, denn beim Speer werden sie wohl morgen noch punkten, was es für SG (#4) recht schwer macht, die Minimalchance zu nutzen. CNT (#5) kann da nicht mehr reingrätschen, aber womöglich noch [H] (#7), die morgen beim Speer auch noch was gutmachen können. Das könnte dazu führen, dass RKN (#6) auf die gewohnte siebente Position fällt.
Um #8 dürfte es zwischen Ukraine und AF gehen, wobei TC (#10) zumindest noch theoretische Chancen hat. Dahinter sind die Abstände weiter knapp und es wird da sicher noch zu Verschiebungen kommen. BOINC.Italy und EVGA (um #11), OCN und AMD Users (um #13 oder gar auch um #11?), Chinese Dream und Meisterkuehler (um #17), TFFE und LITOMYSL (um #19 oder gar mehr?), UBT und BC (um #21) und dazu BOINC Synergy und Russia (um #24) sind derzeit heiße Paarungen.
Der Boden ist bereitet. Die Teams bereit. Das Finale steht an. Doch wie geht es aus?

Day 12 - 16 May 2022 - 12th Dose
Ladies and gentlemen, a very special dose is waiting for you today. Extra strong with obstacle, garnished with a strong touch of javelin and a solid base of City Run. Feel the difference to yesterday, when an intense touch of Sprint was still integrated. Feel the euphoria, and the rush of happiness and fulfillment. Enjoy every drop of it, because I soon have to move on. Therefore, do not put forward tiredness or other excuses. It is time for today's dose.
Sprint (SRBase)
The final of the Sprint is done and caused one or two surprises in the end. Unfortunately, it was clear much too early that TAAT was going to win, but behind them, it became really exciting again. Silver goes to TSBT, who secured the second rank with a strong final day. This way, they also managed to fend off an attack by SG, who still made it to the bronze rang. Congratulations!
The victim of this was P3D, who have to settle for #4 in the end. The pace of SG and TSBT was too high. At least, CNT (#5) could not threaten the Green Planet any more. Instead, they had to watch out like hell for [H] (#6) achten, who came dangerously close. But the better end was in Czechia.
RKN crossed the finish line in their regular #7, quite clearly ahead of Ukraine, who will be very happy with #8. But it was close in the end, because AMD Users approached quickly. But in the end they could "only" reach #9, catching AF (#10) and EVGA (#11) on the final straight.
BOINC.Italy (#12) and TC (#13) followed entering the finish line quite relaxed. Behind them, TFFE (#14) managed to keep the narrow lead over Meisterkuehler (#15). Piece by piece, 2ch (#16), OCN (#17), BOINC@AUSTRALIA (#18), and LITOMYSL (#19) crossed the finish line.
In the end, Russia secured #20 and took the Confederation (#21) and Chinese Dream (#22) by surprise on the final day. UBT finished in #23 and could not take advantage of the weakness of the Chinese. BOINCstats (#24) and BOINC Synergy (#25) were not able to to this, either. Crystal Dream in #26 did not even start running and therefore finishes last.
Javelin Throw (NumberFields@home)
I will look more closely at the javelin tomorrow, as it is not clear yet for every team whether they throw with full power today. But it seems that TAAT secures gold and P3D bags silver.
The fight for bronze remains close, but the three-way fight might turn into a two-way fight. With their throw today, CNT forces SG to throw once again. Only this way, the Germans can win bronze on their own. On the other hand, [H] has not yet done anything today and would throw away any chance for bronze.
Ukraine (#7) confirms the very good throw from the previous attempt and could even outthrow AF (#6) with a similar final throw. In the end, the Ukrainians could also finish ahead of TSBT (#14), even though the Scots throw better again today.
TC (#13) appears to skip today's throw, as do BOINC@AUSTRALIA (#17), TFFE (#18), BC (#19), Meisterkuehler (#20), and UBT (#21). But the day is not over yet.
Obstacle Run (Universe@Home)
TAAT has now taken the lead also here and thus made optimal use of the bonus day. P3D (#2) cannot follow so far and now has to watch out for TSBT (#3), who are very fast today.
Ultimately, we will not see the full impact of the bonus day here until tomorrow. I assume that the teams mobilize all their reserves already now, and the final days will be rather quiet. Many preliminary decisions will be made today. Where should you take a closer look in the next few hours?
RKN (#6) and CNT (#7) are at odds with each other, currently with an advantage for the Germans. It could also get interesting between Meisterkuehler (#11) and OCN (#12), as the gap is still small.
BOINC.Italy (#13) and AMD Users (#14) have probably found each other at this Pentathlon, they are also fighting for the ranks here at the Obstacle Run. Behind them, the gaps are more calming. It gets really close in #24, where Crystal Dream has overtaken BOINCstats.
What is also true here is that the day is still long and the pitfalls of the track can quickly cause a surprise or two.
City Run (Einstein@Home)
At the top is currently TAAT ahead of P3D ahead of TSBT. Unfortunately, BOINC@AUSTRALIA (#4) had to let them go, so bronze is now far away. But at least the Koala group has placed itself clearly ahead of [H] (#5) and SG (#6).
CNT (#8) found out how important #7 is for RKN. OCN, on the other hand, is taking it easy. Behind them, TC sucessfully fought for #10 and roasted the francophone rooster in #11. Ukraine is currently in #12 and appears relatively safe from the chasers.
While EVGA (#13) and BOINC.Italy (#14) are dueling, 2ch (#15) and Chinese Dream (#16) are taking it easier. Do not hurt me and I will not hurt you, appears to be their guiding principle. The opposite is true behind them, as LITOMYSL and AMD Users fight for #17.
Everything is still possible when it comes to the ranks 19-23. BOINCstats and UBT are leading the pack, but cannot feel safe. BOINC Synergy (#21), TFFE (#22), and Meisterkuehler (#23) are virtually tied.
Overall Standings
Again, just a quick look today here, with the hope for a clearer picture tomorrow. TAAT and P3D continue to lead the field. Behind them, TSBT (#3) keeps SG (#4) at bay. It will be very difficult for the Germans to still wean the Scots from bronze.
CNT has moved up into #5. This was to be expected, as RKN (#6) lost many points at the Javelin Throw. [H] (#7) will probably overtake them as well, but has to throw well once more to do so. While Ukraine improved to #8, AF (#9) and TC (#10) dropped a bit.
The gaps are also close behind them, whether for #11 (BOINC.Italy, EVGA, OCN, AMD Users), for #16 (2ch, Chinese Dream), or for #21 (UBT, BC). Maybe we will know more here tomorrow.
The days of decision are upon us. Three disciplines are still running. Today we get more clarity at the Obstacle Run and the Javelin Throw.

Jour 12 - 16/05/2022 - 12e dose
Mesdames et Messieurs, une dose toute particulière vous attend aujourd'hui: extra-forte avec de l'obstacle, une bonne note de javelot et une base solide de course urbaine. Sentez-vous la différence avec hier où l'élixir contenait encore une note intense de sprint? Sentez-vous l'euphorie et l'ivresse du bonheur et de l'accomplissement? Savourez chaque goutte, car je devrai bientôt continuer ma route. Ne prétextez donc pas de fatigue et ne vous trouvez pas d'excuses. Il est temps d'avaler la dose quotidienne.
Sprint (SRBase)
La finale du Sprint est derrière nous et a créé certaines surprises. Malheureusement, la victoire de TAAT était entérinée bien trop tôt, mais derrière, il y a encore eu une bonne dose de suspense. L'argent va à TSBT qui s'est assurée le deuxième rang grâce à une puissante dernière journée. Elle a ainsi réussi à repousser l'attaque de SG qui a finalement décroché le bronze. Toutes nos félicitations!
La victime en a été P3D qui n'arrive que 4e. La vitesse de SG et TSBT était bien trop élevée. Au moins, CNT (#5) n'a plus réussi à mettre la Planète verte en danger. Sur la dernière ligne droite, les Tchèques ont dû faire super-gaffe à [H] (#6) qui s'est approchée dangereusement. Mais à la fin, la meilleure issue était pour la République Tchèque.
RKN a franchi la ligne d'arrivée à sa place attitrée #7, très nettement devant l'Ukraine qui devrait être très satisfaite de sa 8e place. Mais là aussi, les choses étaient serrées à la fin, car les AMD Users sont arrivés en trombe. Ceux-ci ont "seulement" réussi à atteindre la 9e place, mais ils ont coiffé l'AF (#10) et EVGA (#11) au poteau.
BOINC.Italy (#12) et TC (#13) ont passé la ligne d'arrivée très détendues. Derrière, TFFE (#14) a réussi à sauver sa brève avance sur les Meisterkuehler (#15). 2ch (#16), OCN (#17), BOINC@AUSTRALIA (#18) et LITOMYSL (#19) sont arrivées les unes après les autres.
À la fin, Russia a sécurisé la 20e place en prenant la Confederation (#21) et Chinese Dream (#22) par surprise le dernier jour. UBT est arrivée 23e et n'a pas réussi à profiter suffisamment de la faiblesse des Chinois. BOINCstats (#24) et BOINC Synergy (#25) n'y sont pas parvenues non plus. Crystal Dream (#26) n'a carrément pas couru et se retrouve donc dernière.
Lancer de javelot (NumberFields@home)
Je m'attarderai davantage sur le Javelot demain, car il n'est pas encore très clair si les équipes lancent correctement aujourd'hui. En revanche, on dirait que TAAT décrochera la médaille d'or et P3D celle d'argent.
C'est encore serré pour le bronze, mais cette bagarre à trois pourrait se transformer en duel. Grâce à son lancer du jour, CNT oblige SG à faire encore un bon lancer. C'est la seule façon pour les Allemands de décrocher le bronze par leurs propres moyens. [H] n'a toutefois encore rien fait aujourd'hui et renoncerait ainsi à sa chance de médaille.
L'Ukraine (#7) confirme son dernier très bon lancer et pourrait même dépasser l'AF (#6) si son prochain lancer est équivalent. Au final, les Ukrainiens pourraient même franchir la ligne d'arrivée devant TSBT (#14), même si les Écossais lancent de nouveau un peu mieux aujourd'hui.
TC (#13) semble faire l'impasse aujourd'hui, tout comme BOINC@AUSTRALIA (#17), TFFE (#18), BC (#19), Meisterkuehler (#20) ou UBT (#21). Mais la journée est loin d'être finie.
Course d'obstacles (Universe@Home)
Et voilà que TAAT a pris le leadership dans cette discipline aussi: elle a utilisé la journée bonus de manière optimale. P3D (#2) n'arrive pas à suivre jusqu'à présent et doit même surveiller TSBT (#3) qui avance très rapidement aujourd'hui.
En fin de compte, nous ne verrons les effets de cette journée bonus que demain. Je pars du principe que les équipes mobilisent dès à présent toutes leurs réserves et que nous aurons des dernières journées plutôt calmes. De nombreux résultats préliminaires devraient tomber aujourd'hui. Où faut-il regarder de plus près au cours des prochaines heures?
RKN (#6) et CNT (#7) sont actuellement en bisbille avec, pour l'heure, un avantage pour les Allemands. Les choses pourraient aussi devenir intéressantes entre les Meisterkuehler (#11) et OCN (#12), car l'écart est encore faible.
BOINC.Italy (#13) et les AMD Users (#14) semblent s'être trouvées lors de ce Pentathlon: même à la Course d'obstacles ces deux équipes se battent pour les places. Ensuite, les écarts sont larges. Les choses sont réellement serrées au rang 24, où Crystal Dream a doublé BOINCstats.
Ici aussi on peut dire que la journée est encore longue et que les embûches du parcours peuvent rapidement créer des surprises.
Course urbaine (Einstein@Home)
TAAT devant P3D devant TSBT - telle est actuellement la situation au sommet. Malheureusement, BOINC@AUSTRALIA (#4) a dû laisser filer, ce qui l'a bien éloignée du bronze également. Au moins, la fraction des koalas s'est placée très nettement devant [H] (#5) et SG (#6).
CNT (#8) a appris à ses dépens à quel point RKN tenait à la 7e place. Tandis qu'OCN (#9) se la coule plutôt douce, TC a conquis la 10e place en rôtissant le coq francophone au rang 11. L'Ukraine court tranquillement à la 12e place et semble assez à l'abri de ses poursuivants.
Tandis que EVGA (#13) et BOINC.Italy (#14) se battent en duel, 2ch (#15) et Chinese Dream (#16) prennent un peu plus de recul. Leur devise semble être: si tu ne me fais rien, je ne te fais rien non plus. Derrière, c'est l'inverse: LITOMYSL et AMD Users se battent pour la 17e place.
Tout est encore possible dans la répartition des places 19-23. BOINCstats et UBT sont à la tête de la meute, mais ne peuvent se sentir en sécurité. BOINC Synergy (#21), TFFE (#22) et les Meisterkuehler (#23) sont quasiment au même niveau.
Classement général
Aujourd'hui aussi, je ne jetterai qu'un bref coup d'œil en espérant y voir un peu plus clair demain. TAAT et P3D continuent à mener le peloton. Derrière, TSBT (#3) garde toujours SG (#4) à distance. Ce sera très dur pour les Allemands de sevrer les Écossais du bronze.
CNT s'est glissée à la 5e place, mais c'était prévisible, car RKN (#6) a perdu des points au Javelot. [H] (#7) devrait aussi venir, mais pour ça, elle devra d'abord bien lancer. Tandis que l'Ukraine a progressé au rang 8, l'AF (#9) et TC (#10) ont dû revoir leurs objectifs un peu à la baisse.
Derrière, les écarts sont également serrés, que ce soit autour de la place 11 (BOINC.Italy, EVGA, OCN, AMD Users), la place 16 (2ch, Chinese Dream) ou la place 21 (UBT, BC). Peut-être que nous en saurons davantage demain.
Les journées décisives sont à nos portes. Encore trois disciplines sont en cours. Les choses deviendront plus claires à la Course d'obstacles et au Lancer de javelot aujourd'hui.

Tag 12 - 16.05.2022 - 12. Dosis
Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, heute erwartet Sie eine ganz besondere Dosis. Extra stark mit Hindernis, garniert mit kräftiger Note Speer und solider Basis Stadtlauf. Spüren Sie den Unterschied zu gestern, als noch eine intensive Note Sprint integriert war. Spüren Sie die Euphorie und den Rausch den Glücks und der Erfüllung. Genießen Sie jeden Tropfen, denn bald muss ich weiterziehen. Deshalb: Keine Müdigkeit vorschieben, keine Ausreden. Es wird Zeit für die heutige Dosis.
Sprint (SRBase)
Das Finale beim Sprint ist geschafft und hat am Ende doch für eine oder andere Überraschung gesorgt. Der Sieg von TAAT war leider schon viel zu früh klar, doch dahinter wurde es nochmal richtig spannend. Silber geht an TSBT, die mit einem starken Schlusstag den zweiten Rang sicherten. Damit gelang es ihnen auch den Angriff von SG abzuwehren, die es dann doch noch auf den Bronzerang schafften. Herzlichen Glückwunsch!
Leidtragender war P3D, für die am Ende nur #4 bleibt. Das Tempo von SG und TSBT war zu hoch. Zumindest konnte CNT (#5) dem Grünen Planeten nicht mehr gefährlich werden. Diese mussten am Ende höllisch auf [H] (#6) achten, die gefährlich nahe kamen. Aber am Ende war das bessere Ende in Tschechien.
Auf ihrem Stammplatz #7 ging RKN ins Ziel und das sogar recht deutlich vor der Ukraine, die mit #8 sehr zufrieden sein werden. Aber auch hier wurde es am Ende eng, denn die AMD Users kamen schnell heran. Doch am Ende konnten sie "nur" #9 erreichen, haben auf der Zielgerade noch AF (#10) und EVGA (#11) abgefangen.
BOINC.Italy (#12) und TC (#13) folgten recht locker ins Ziel laufend. Dahinter gelang es TFFE (#14), den knappen Vorsprung auf die Meisterkuehler (#15) ins Ziel zu retten. Stück für Stück trudelten dann 2ch (#16), OCN (#17), BOINC@AUSTRALIA (#18) und LITOMYSL (#19) im Ziel ein.
Russia sicherte sich am Ende #20 und überrumpelte am Schlusstag damit die Confederation (#21) und Chinese Dream (#22). UBT ging auf #23 ins Ziel und konnte die Schwäche der Chinesen nicht mehr gebührend ausnutzen. Und auch BOINCstats (#24) und BOINC Synergy (#25) waren dazu nicht in der Lage. Crystal Dream auf #26 war gar nicht erst losgerannt und wird daher Letzter.
Speerwerfen (NumberFields@home)
Beim Speer werde ich morgen intensiver draufschauen, denn noch hier ist nicht bei jedem Team klar, ob sie heute richtig werfen. Es zeichnet sich aber ab, dass TAAT die Goldmedaille festmacht und P3D Silber eintütet.
Um Bronze bleibt es eng, allerdings könnte aus dem Dreikampf ein Zweikampf werden. CNT zwingt SG mit dem heutigen Wurf dazu, nochmal zu werfen. Nur so können die Deutschen Bronze aus eigener Kraft holen. [H] hat dagegen heute noch nichts getan und würde damit die Chance auf Bronze wegwerfen.
Die Ukraine (#7) bestätigt den letzten sehr guten Wurf und könnte mit einem gleichwertigen letzten Wurf sogar AF (#6) überwerfen. Am Ende könnten die Ukrainer auch vor TSBT (#14) durchs Ziel gehen, auch wenn die Schotten heute wieder besser werfen.
TC (#13) scheint heute auszulassen, so wie auch BOINC@AUSTRALIA (#17), TFFE (#18), BC (#19), Meisterkuehler (#20) oder UBT (#21). Aber noch ist der Tag nicht zu Ende.
Hindernislauf (Universe@Home)
Nun hat TAAT auch hier die Führung übernommen und damit den Bonustag optimal genutzt. P3D (#2) kann da bisher nicht folgen und muss nun auf TSBT (#3) achten, die heute sehr schnell unterwegs sind.
Letztlich werden wir auch hier erst morgen sehen, was der Bonustag für Auswirkungen hatte. Ich gehe davon aus, dass die Teams jetzt bereits alle Reserven mobilisieren und wir so eher ruhigere Abschlusstage haben werden. Heute werden viele Vorentscheidungen fallen. Wo sollten Sie in den nächsten Stunden genauer hinschauen?
RKN (#6) und CNT (#7) sind derzeit im Clinch miteinander, mit derzeitigem Vorteil für die Deutschen. Interessant könnten es auch zwischen Meisterkuehler (#11) und OCN (#12) werden, da der Abstand noch gering ist.
BOINC.Italy (#13) und die AMD Users (#14) haben sich bei diesem Pentathlon wohl gefunden, auch hier beim Hindernislauf balgen sich die beiden um die Plätze. Danach sind die Abstände geruhsam. Richtig eng wird es auf #24, wo Crystal Dream BOINCstats überholt hat.
Auch hier gilt: Der Tag ist noch lang und die Tücken der Strecke können schnell für die eine oder andere Überraschung sorgen.
Stadtlauf (Einstein@Home)
TAAT vor P3D vor TSBT ist derzeit der Stand an der Spitze. Leider musste BOINC@AUSTRALIA (#4) abreißen lassen, womit Bronze weit weggerückt ist. Aber zumindest hat sich die Koala-Fraktion deutlich vor [H] (#5) und SG (#6) platziert.
Wie wichtig RKN #7 ist, hat CNT (#8) erfahren müssen. Wogegen OCN eine eher ruhige Kugel schiebt. Dahinter hat TC #10 erkämpft und den francophonen Hahn auf #11 geröstet. Derzeit auf #12 läuft die Ukraine und scheint recht sicher vor den Verfolgern.
Während EVGA (#13) und BOINC.Italy (#14) sich duellieren, lassen es 2ch (#15) und Chinese Dream (#16) geruhsamer angehen. Prinzip schein hier das Motto zu sein: Du tust mir nichts, ich tu dir nichts. Das Gegenteil ist dahinter der Fall, wo LITOMYSL und AMD Users um #17 fighten.
Alles möglich ist auch noch bei der Verteilung der Plätze 19-23. BOINCstats und UBT führen die Meute an, können sich aber nicht sicher fühlen. Praktisch gleichauf sind BOINC Synergy (#21), TFFE (#22) und die Meisterkuehler (#23).
Gesamtwertung
Auch hier nur heute ein kurzer Blick, mit der Hoffnung morgen etwas klarer zu sehen. TAAT und P3D führen weiter das Feld an. Dahinter hält TSBT (#3) SG (#4) weiter auf Distanz. Für die Deutschen wird es ganz schwer, noch die Schotten von Bronze zu entwöhnen.
CNT hat sich auf #5 geschoben, was aber zu erwarten war. Denn RKN (#6) verlor Punkte beim Speer. Auch [H] (#7) wird da wohl noch kommen, muss dafür aber nochmal gut werfen. Während sich die Ukraine auf #8 verbessert hat, mussten AF (#9) und TC (#10) etwas zurückstecken.
Auch dahinter sind die Abstände eng, egal ob um #11 (BOINC.Italy, EVGA, OCN, AMD Users), um #16 (2ch, Chinese Dream), um #21 (UBT, BC). Vielleicht wissen wir ja morgen mehr.
Die Tage der Entscheidung stehen an. Noch drei Disziplinen sind am Start. Heute bekommen wir mehr Klarheit beim Hindernis und Speer.
