Day 6 – 10 May 2023 – All Good Things Come in Threes?

Today the teams are competing on two tracks. In addition, there is the third javelin throw. Here the teams have to put their cards on the table today at the latest. After the third throw we will know who is capable of what. I will evaluate this tomorrow.

And so we can focus on the track disciplines again.

Obstacle Run (yoyo@home: only subprojects ECM, ECM P2)
P3D managed to take the lead and outperform TAAT (#2) at least for now. However, the bonus days could still shake up the picture considerably. The battle for #3 also remains exciting, with three teams involved, fittingly. [H] (#3) currently hold the best cards, followed by SG (#4) and LTT (#5).

GPUUG and CNT are fighting for #6 at the moment. They might still join the battle for bronze as well, but their pace is not sufficient right now. SUSA's (#8) gap to the duo is already substantial, but we know from the past that the Americans always like to gamble. Whether they are able to do so this year is another matter.

In #9 and quite close behind are RKN, followed by AF, TC, and MK. The Chinese currently hold the best cards and are closing in on AF. Behind them is a quartet. AMD Users (#13), Ukraine (#14), B@P (#15), and BOINC.Italy (#16) form an illustrious travel party and we cannot yet estimate who will be in front in the end.

OCN continue to wander in no man's land and are calmly securing #17. Behind them, EVGA (#18) have just overtaken UBT (#19), and Chinese Dream (#20) might become a threat for the British as well.

LITOMYSL (#21) allowed for a small gap to open. TSBT (#22) and behind them BC and TFFE could well close the gap in front of them if they step on the gas.

Russia and B^S are furiously fighting for #25 and could witness another duel if they looked around. BOINCstats have passed PiGyS and reached #27. 2ch (#29) and Crystal Dream (#30) are not too far behind either, and with luck and skill, could also still make up places.

City Run (PrimeGrid: only subproject AP 27)
The City Run is halfway through for the teams. Unfortunately, it is not quite as exciting at the top as it is in the Obstacle Run or the Javelin Throw. TAAT have invested an insane amount of energy here and continue to put the pedal to the metal.

P3D continue to hold #2, but GPUUG (#3) are closing in. A bit behind them LTT (#4) have passed SG (#5). For both of them winning a medal is going to be tough, and they even have to watch out for RKN (#6). The Rechenkrafties are doing very well and just overran [H] (#7).

CNT (#8) are also quite fast at the moment and have the opportunity to catch up with the duo in front of them. The Czechs also have the advantage that there is currently no threat from behind. TC (#9) are kept at a distance, and AF (#10), who are fighting with AMD Users (#11), is even further behind.

Meanwhile, OCN (#12) have an eye on the AMD guys and is slowly stalking them. But they should watch out not to be surprised by SUSA (#13) while stalking, who are approaching just as steadily.

MK (#14) are running out of coolant and so they lose energy and contact. However, there is still time to get back up to speed, as Crystal Dream (#15) are a bit away. The dreamers also have the luxury of having opened a gap, so LITOMYSL (#16) and EVGA (#17) are already quite far behind.

EVGA's strong intermediate spurt has cost TSBT (#18) one place, and now the Scots have to be careful not to be chased away by TFFE (#19) as well. They not only managed to pass 2ch (#20), but also increased their lead over BOINC.Italy (#21), Ukraine (#22), and Russia (#23) in the process.

In contrast, B@P (#24) had to let go. It is a small consolation to have left Chinese Dream (#25) further behind. BC (#26), B^S (#27), UBT (#28), BOINCstats (#29), and PiGyS (#30) follow.

• Can GPUUG silver their City Run?
• Can P3D hold on to the lead in the Obstacle Run?
• Can SG win the Javelin Throw?

Jour 6 – 10/05/2023 – Jamais deux sans trois.

Aujourd'hui, les équipes peuvent à nouveau se défouler sur trois pistes. Pour cela, il y a le troisième lancer de javelot où les équipes doivent impérativement annoncer la couleur aujourd'hui. Après ce troisième lancer, nous saurons ce qu'elles ont dans le ventre. J'analyserai cela demain.

Nous pouvons donc passer aux pistes de course.

Course d'obstacles (yoyo@home: uniquement les sous-projets ECM, ECM P2)
P3D a réussi à passer en tête et à supplanter - au moins temporairement - TAAT (#2). Mais les journées bonus peuvent encore venir perturber cette image. La bagarre pour la 3e place, convoitée par trois équipes, reste également captivante: pour l'heure, [H] (#3) a les meilleures chances, suivie par SG (#4) et LTT (#5).

GPUUG et CNT se battent actuellement pour la 6e place. Elles aussi pourraient encore intervenir dans la bagarre pour le bronze, mais pour l'heure leur vitesse est insuffisante. Le retard de SUSA (#8) sur ce duo est déjà très important, mais le passé nous a appris que les Américains aiment bien jouer au poker. Qu'ils en soient capables cette année est une autre histoire.

À une courte distance, nous retrouvons RKN au rang 9, suivie par l'AF, TC et MK. Pour l'instant, les Chinois ont le meilleur jeu et tirent l'AF par la manche. Derrière circule un quatuor: AMD Users (#13), Ukraine, B@P et BOINC.Italy forment un groupe d'illustres touristes qui ne nous permet pas encore de deviner qui finira devant.

OCN continue à courir en zone neutre et assure tranquillement la 17e place. Derrière, EVGA (#18) vient de doubler UBT (#19). Cependant Chinese Dream (#20) pourrait encore mettre en danger les Britanniques.

LITOMYSL (#21) a laissé s'ouvrir un petit fossé. TSBT (#22), suivie par BC et TFFE, pourraient certainement combler l'écart devant elles, si elles accéléraient un peu.

Russia et B^S se battent avec acharnement pour la 25e place et pourraient être témoins d'un autre duel si elles se retournaient. BOINCstats a dépassé PiGyS et atteint la 27e place. 2ch (#29) et Crystal Dream (#30) ne sont pas très loin non plus et peuvent encore gagner des places avec un peu de chance.

Course Urbaine (PrimeGrid: uniquement le sous-projet AP 27)
Voilà, les équipes sont à mi-parcours de la Course urbaine. Malheureusement, la tête est bien moins palpitante que celle de la Course d'obstacles ou du Lancer de javelot. TAAT a investi énormément d'énergie et continue pied au plancher.

Certes, P3D se maintient à la 2e place, mais GPUUG (#3) se rapproche. Un peu plus loin, LTT (#4) a doublé SG (#5). Il sera difficile pour ces deux équipes de monter sur le podium, et elles doivent même faire attention à RKN (#6). Les gars et les filles de Rechenkraft progressent très bien et viennent de déferler sur [H] (#7).

Actuellement, CNT (#8) avance assez rapidement et a la possibilité de rattraper le duo devant elle. Les Tchèques ont l'avantage qu'aucun danger ne les guette à l'arrière. TC (#9) est maintenue à distance et l'AF (#10), qui bataille avec AMD Users (#11), est encore plus loin.

En attendant, OCN (#12) a jeté un œil sur AMD Users et s'en approche à pas de loup. Mais attention à ne pas se faire surprendre par SUSA (#13) qui s'approche aussi régulièrement.

MK (#14) sont à court de liquide de refroidissement. Ils perdent en énergie et le contact. Il est encore temps de monter en régime, car Crystal Dream (#15) est à une certaine distance. Les Rêveurs se sont offert le luxe de creuser l'écart et de laisser LITOMYSL (#16) et EVGA (#17) assez loin derrière.

Le bon sprint intermédiaire de EVGA a coûté une place à TSBT (#18) et maintenant les Écossais doivent également faire attention à ne pas se faire chasser par TFFE (#19). Celle-ci n'a pas seulement réussi à passer devant 2ch (#20), elle a aussi creusé l'écart avec BOINC.Italy (#21), Ukraine (#22) et Russia (#23).

En revanche, B@P (#24) a dû laisser filer. C'est une maigre consolation d'avoir laissé Chinese Dream (#25) encore plus loin derrière. Suivent BC (#26), B^S (#27), UBT (#28), BOINCstats (#29) et PiGyS (#30).

• GPUUG pourra-t-elle décrocher l'argent à la Course urbaine?
• P3D pourra-t-elle se maintenir en tête à la Course d'obstacles?
• SG pourra-t-elle gagner au Lancer de javelot?

Tag 6 – 10.05.2023 – Aller guten Dinge sind drei?

Heute dürfen die Teams wieder auf zwei Strecken ran. Dazu steht der dritte Wurf beim Speer an. Hier müssen die Teams spätestens heute die Hosen runterlassen. Nach dem dritten Wurf wissen wir, wer was auf den Kasten hat. Dies werde ich dann morgen auswerten.

Und so können wir uns wieder den Laufstrecken widmen.

Hindernislauf (yoyo@home: nur die Subprojekte ECM, ECM P2)
P3D hat es geschafft, sich an die Spitze zu setzen und TAAT (#2) zumindest vorerst auszustechen. Die Bonustage können das Bild aber noch kräftig durcheinander schütteln. Spannend bleibt auch der Kampf um Platz 3, worum sich passenderweise drei Teams bemühen. [H] (#3) hat derzeit die besten Karten, gefolgt von SG (#4) und LTT (#5).

GPUUG und CNT balgen sich derzeit um #6. Auch sie könnten im Kampf um Bronze noch eingreifen, aber derzeit ist ihr Tempo nicht ausreichend. Der Rückstand von SUSA (#8) auf das Duo ist schon kräftig, aber aus der Vergangenheit wissen wir, dass die Amerikaner immer auch gerne pokern. Ob sie in diesem Jahr dazu in der Lage sind, steht auf einem anderen Blatt.

Auf #9 und recht eng dahinter ist RKN unterwegs, gefolgt von AF, TC und MK. Die Chinesen haben derzeit die besten Karten und rücken AF auf die Pelle. Ein Quartett ist dahinter unterwegs. AMD Users (#13), Ukraine (#14), B@P (#15) und BOINC.Italy (#16) bilden eine illustre Reisegesellschaft, bei der wir noch nicht abschätzen können, wer am Ende vorne liegt.

OCN läuft weiter im Niemandsland herum und sichert in Ruhe #17 ab. Dahinter hat gerade EVGA (#18) UBT (#19) überholt, wobei vielleicht auch Chinese Dream (#20) den Briten gefährlich werden könnte.

Eine kleine Lücke hat LITOMYSL (#21) reißen lassen. TSBT (#22) und dahinter BC und TFFE könnten durchaus die Lücke vor ihnen noch schließen, wenn sie etwas Gas geben würden.

Um Platz 25 kämpfen verbissen Russia und B^S, die wiederum Zeuge eines anderen Duells sein könnten, falls sie sich umsehen würden. BOINCstats hat PiGyS überholt und #27 erreicht. 2ch (#29) und Crystal Dream (#30) sind auch nicht sehr weit weg und könnten mit Glück und Können auch noch Plätze gut machen.

Stadtlauf (PrimeGrid: nur das Subprojekt AP 27)
Die Hälfte geschafft, heißt es für die Teams beim Stadtlauf. Leider ist es hier an der Spitze nicht ganz so spannend wie beim Hindernis oder Speer. TAAT hat hier wahnsinnig viel Kraft investiert und tritt weiter das Gaspedal voll durch.

P3D hält zwar weiter #2, aber GPUUG (#3) rückt näher heran. Etwas dahinter ist LTT (#4) an SG (#5) vorbeigegangen. Für die beiden wird es schwer in Richtung Edelmetall und sie müssen sogar auf RKN (#6) achten. Die Rechenkraftler sind sehr gut unterwegs und haben gerade [H] (#7) überrollt.

CNT (#8) ist aktuell auch recht flott unterwegs und hat die Möglichkeit, auf das Duo vor ihnen aufzuschließen. Die Tschechen haben auch den Vorteil, dass derzeit von hinten keine Gefahr droht. TC (#9) ist auf Distanz gehalten und AF (#10), welche sich mit den AMD Users (#11) kampelt, ist noch weiter weg.

OCN (#12) hat derweil ein Auge auf die AMDler geworfen und pirscht sich so langsam heran. Aber Obacht, dass sie beim Pirschen nicht durch SUSA (#13) überrascht werden. Diese nähern sich ebenso stetig.

MK (#14) geht das Kühlmittel aus und so verlieren sie an Energie und den Anschluss. Noch ist Zeit um wieder auf Touren zu kommen, da Crystal Dream (#15) etwas weg ist. Die Träumer haben auch den Luxus, eine Lücke herausgelaufen zu haben, sodass LITOMYSL (#16) und EVGA (#17) schon recht weit weg sind.

Der gute Zwischenspurt von EVGA hat TSBT (#18) einen Platz gekostet und nun müssen die Schotten aufpassen, nicht auch von TFFE (#19) vertrieben zu werden. Die haben es nicht nur geschafft, an 2ch (#20) vorbeizuziehen, sondern damit auch den Vorsprung auf BOINC.Italy (#21), Ukraine (#22) und Russia (#23) vergrößert.

Abreißen lassen musste dagegen B@P (#24). Da ist es ein schwacher Trost, Chinese Dream (#25) weiter abgehängt zu haben. Es folgen BC (#26), B^S (#27), UBT (#28), BOINCstats (#29) und PiGyS (#30).

• Kann GPUUG den Stadtlauf versilbern?
• Kann sich P3D an der Spitze beim Hindernislauf halten?
• Kann SG beim Speer siegen?

Ihr seht, es bleibt spannend beim BOINC Pentathlon.
