Das Sprint-Projekt des diesjährigen BOINC Pentathlon begrüßt die Teilnehmer und führt seinen weiteren Ablaufplan aus, mit einer kleinen Planänderung für konstantere Laufzeiten während des Pentathlons.

Ablaufplan
Einige von euch haben vielleicht gemerkt, dass die Suche im Abschnitt DS16x11 von Unterkörper 7 dem Ende zugeht, und vielleicht fragt ihr euch, wie es dann weitergeht.

Wir beginnen mit einem kurzen Abstecher zu Unterkörper 6 und beginnen mit der Suche im Abschnitt DS11x12. Der einzige Grund dafür ist, die WUs für den BOINC Pentathlon gleichmäßig zu halten (die Laufzeitschätzungen für die beiden Suchabschnitte sind sehr ähnlich - die WUs laufen auf meiner CPU durchschnittlich 2 Stunden)

Anschließend gehen wir zurück zu Unterkörper 3 und schließen diesen Teil der Suche endgültig ab.

Danach geht es zurück zum letzten Abschnitt von Unterkörper 7 und schließlich zu Unterkörper 6.

Day 8 – 12 May 2023 – Run After Throw

Today will bring the first decision of this year's Pentathlon in the City Run. The next decision is scheduled already for tomorrow, so that we do not get bored. And besides, the Sprint stars tomorrow. Blow after blow or run after throw after run. So of course I look at the Javelin Throw and the City Run again today.

Javelin Throw (SRBase: all subprojects except TF)
The rankings have not changed much since yesterday, so today I will try to assess the real situation without looking at each current ranking. Tomorrow there will be a lot of movement and the field will be reordered heavily one last time. This year, the strategies of the teams are more diverse, so it is even more difficult to keep track. Bad for the teams, good for the thrill.

TAAT are on the verge of victory if they do not slip up tomorrow. Behind them, SG have a chance for silver, which would be their best result in a single discipline since 2020. P3D have skipped yesterday's throw and let the chance to win silver on their own slip away. Now the Green Planet has to hope for a slip-up of the Blue and Yellows. Such as the one RKN made yesterday, which has probably cost the Rechenkrafties the medal.

And this does not need to be the end of it, as CNT are lying in wait to punish the next misstep. Theoretically, even [H] could pass the Germans, but this would require an almost total blackout from RKN.

Ukraine, LTT, MK, AF, and LITOMYSL have chances to reach the remaining places in the top 10. The final day will decide. SUSA might also come close to the top positions, but probably not quite reach them. BOINC.Italy and AMD Users could also have a battle with the Americans.

Behind them, it is still very close, so there is plenty of tension. GPUUG could make a nice leap and might even be able to annoy Crystal Dream, TFFE, and BC a bit.

City Run (PrimeGrid: only subproject AP 27)
What will happen here in the final spurt? Who can achieve the ultimate acceleration? TAAT will not be denied the victory, but behind them things are already heating up. LTT could clinch their best result in a single discipline with #2, but the same is true for GPUUG (#3). And what about P3D (#4) and SG (#5)? Are they both already hopelessly lost?

[H] (#6) are probably out of the medal race, but they should keep an eye on RKN (#7) and CNT (#8). The duo could soar to new heights as they compete against each other. While TC secure #9, SUSA (#10) crawls into the top 10. Currently, the eagle is ahead of AF's (#11) rooster by the length of a beak.

It is also a very tight between OCN (#12) and MK (#13). With a strong intermediate spurt, the cool ones shot past AMD Users (#14). They, in turn, should not feel to comfortable, as Crystal Dream are looking to do the same as the cooling experts.

The next duel is already a bit behind. However, it is questionable whether Ukraine (#16) and EVGA (#17) are even noticing. The two are just too busy with each other. Theoretically, LITOMYSL could still disturb their cozy togetherness, but there is no sign of this at the moment.

Russia (#19), TFFE (#20), BOINC.Italy (#21), 2ch (#22), TSBT (#23), and B@P (#24) seem to have no desire to compete, they all are devotedly and lazily securing their positions. Chinese Dream (#25) also have little motivation to do more, although BC are chipping away at their huge deficit.

Behind them, B^S (#27), UBT (#28), BOINCstats (#29), and PiGyS (#30) finish the round.

Jour 8 – 12/05/2023 – La course après le lancer

Le premier résultat de ce Pentathlon tombera aujourd'hui à la Course urbaine. Afin que nous ne nous ennuyions pas, le prochain résultat sera déjà au programme demain. Et, en passant, le sprint débute demain. Coup sur coup, ou on pourrait dire course sur lancer sur course. C'est pour cela que je regarderai aujourd'hui le javelot et la Course urbaine.

Lancer de Javelot (SRBase: tous les sous-projets sauf TF)
Depuis hier, il n'y a pas eu de grands changements au niveau du classement, je tente donc aujourd'hui d'évaluer la situation réelle sans insister sur chaque position actuelle. Demain, il y aura beaucoup de mouvements dans le peloton et tout sera sérieusement réorganisé et finalisé. Cette année, les différentes stratégies des équipes se diversifient encore plus et il devient d'autant plus difficile de garder une vue d'ensemble. C'est mauvais pour les équipes, mais bon pour le suspense.

TAAT est sur le point de gagner, à condition de ne pas gaffer demain. Derrière, SG a la possibilité de décrocher l'argent, ce qui serait son meilleur classement individuel depuis 2020. P3D a fait l'impasse hier et perd donc la capacité d'atteindre l'argent par ses propres moyens. La Planète verte doit maintenant espérer une faute des Bleu-et-Jaune. L'erreur a malheureusement été commise par RKN hier, si bien que la médaille a probablement glissé de ses doigts.

Et ce n'est peut-être pas fini, car CNT est en embuscade pour punir le prochain raté. En théorie, même [H] pourrait encore doubler les Allemands, mais il faudrait un blackout quasi total chez RKN pour cela.

L'Ukraine, LTT, MK, l'AF et LITOMYSL ont la possibilité d'occuper les autres places du TOP10. La dernière journée sera décisive. SUSA pourrait également se rapprocher des meilleurs classements, mais sans plus. BOINC.Italy et AMD Users peuvent aussi se battre contre les Américains.

Derrière, les choses sont très serrées, ce qui nous promet du suspense. GPUUG peut encore faire un joli bond en avant et agacer ainsi Crystal Dream, TFFE et BC.

Course Urbaine (PrimeGrid: uniquement le sous-projet AP 27)
Que se passera-t-il au cours du sprint final? Qui pourra atteindre l'accélération ultime? La victoire ne pourra plus échapper à TAAT, mais derrière ça chauffe déjà. Avec la 2e place, LTT pourrait engranger son meilleur classement individuel, mais cela s'applique aussi à GPUUG (#3). Et qu'en est-il de P3D (#4) et SG (#5)? Sont-elles toutes deux déjà désespérément perdues?

[H] (#6) devrait être sortie de la course aux médailles, mais doit garder un œil sur RKN (#7) et CNT (#8). Ce duo pourrait atteindre de nouveaux sommets en s'affrontant. Tandis que TC sécurise la 9e place, SUSA (#10) a rampé jusque dans le TOP10. Pour l'heure, l'aigle a un bec d'avance sur le coq de l'AF (#11).

C'est également très serré entre OCN (#12) et MK (#13). Grâce à un puissant sprint intermédiaire, les gars cool sont passés devant AMD Users (#14), qui ne doit pas être trop sûre d'elle, car Crystal Dream veut imiter MK.

La prochaine paire de bagarreurs se trouve déjà à une certaine distance, mais on peut se demander si l'Ukraine (#16) et EVGA (#17) s'en rendent compte, tellement elles sont occupées l'une avec l'autre. En théorie, LITOMYSL pourrait encore déranger ce moment de complicité, mais ce n'est pas le cas actuellement.

Russia (#19), TFFE (#20), BOINC.Italy (#21), 2ch (#22), TSBT (#23) et B@P (#24) ne semblent pas avoir envie de compétition: fidèles et fainéantes, elles sécurisent toutes leur position respective. Chinese Dream (#25) n'est pas très motivée pour en faire davantage, même si BC grignote un peu de son grand retard.

Derrière, B^S (#27), UBT (#28), BOINCstats (#29) et PiGyS (#30) ferment la marche.

Tag 8 – 12.05.2023 – Lauf auf Wurf

Die erste Entscheidung des diesjährigen Pentathlons fällt heute beim Stadtlauf. Damit uns nicht langweilig wird, steht morgen gleich die nächste Entscheidung auf dem Programm. Und ganz nebenbei startet morgen der Sprint. Schlag auf Schlag oder Lauf auf Wurf auf Lauf. Daher schaue ich natürlich heute wieder auf den Speer und den Stadtlauf.

Speerwerfen (SRBase: alle Subprojekte außer TF)
An den Platzierungen hat sich seit gestern nichts weiter getan, daher versuche ich heute mal, die reale Lage einzuschätzen, ohne dabei auf jede aktuell Platzierung einzugehen. Morgen wird es eine Menge Bewegung im Feld geben und alles kräftig neu und abschließend ordnen. In diesem Jahr fächern sich die verschiedenen Strategien der Teams weiter auf, sodass es noch schwieriger wird, den Überblick zu behalten. Schlecht für die Teams, gut für die Spannung.

TAAT steht vor dem Sieg, vorausgesetzt sie patzen morgen nicht. Dahinter hat SG die Chance auf Silber, was die beste Einzelplatzierung seit 2020 wäre. P3D hat gestern ausgelassen und somit auch die Chance, Silber aus eigener Kraft zu erreichen. Jetzt muss der Grüne Planet auf einen Patzer der Blaugelben hoffen. Den hat gestern leider RKN hingelegt, wodurch die Medaille den Rechenkraftlern wohl aus den Fingern geglitten ist.

Und das muss noch nicht alles sein, denn CNT liegt auf der Lauer, um den nächsten Aussetzer zu bestrafen. Theoretisch könnte sogar noch [H] an den Deutschen vorbeigehen, doch dafür braucht es schon fast einen totalen Blackout bei RKN.

Ukraine, LTT, MK, AF und LITOMYSL haben Chancen auf die restlichen Plätze in den Top 10. Hier entscheidet der letzte Tag. Auch für SUSA könnte es in die Nähe der Topplatzierungen gehen, mehr aber wohl nicht. BOINC.Italy und AMD Users können sich dabei auch noch ein Gefecht mit den Amerikanern liefern.

Dahinter geht es noch kräftig eng zu, sodass für Spannung gesorgt ist. Einen hübschen Sprung kann auch noch GPUUG machen und könnte damit auch Crystal Dream, TFFE und BC noch etwas ärgern.

Stadtlauf (PrimeGrid: nur das Subprojekt AP 27)
Was passiert hier noch im Endspurt? Wer kann noch die ultimative Beschleunigung erreichen? TAAT wird der Sieg nicht mehr zu nehmen sein, aber schon dahinter geht es heiß her. LTT könnte mit #2 die beste Einzelplatzierung einfahren, doch das trifft auch auf GPUUG (#3) zu. Und was ist mit P3D (#4) und SG (#5)? Sind beide schon hoffnungslos verloren?

[H] (#6) dürfte raus aus dem Medaillenrennen sein, sollte aber ein Auge auf RKN (#7) und CNT (#8) haben. Das Duo könnte sich im gegenseitigen Wettkampf zu neuen Höhen aufschwingen. Während TC #9 absichert, robbt sich SUSA (#10) in die Top 10. Aktuell hat der Adler eine Schnabellänge Vorsprung vor dem Hahn von AF (#11).

Hauteng geht es auch zwischen OCN (#12) und MK (#13) zu. Die Coolen sind mit einem kräftigen Zwischenspurt an AMD Users (#14) vorbei gedüst. Die wiederum dürfen sich nicht zu sicher sein, denn Crystal Dream will es den Meisterkühlern gleich tun.

Das nächste Kampfduo liegt schon etwas dahinter. Es ist aber fraglich, ob Ukraine (#16) und EVGA (#17) davon etwas mitbekommen. So sehr sind die beiden miteinander zugange. Theoretisch könnte LITOMYSL die traute Zweisamkeit noch stören, aktuell ist dies aber nicht zu erkennen.

Russia (#19), TFFE (#20), BOINC.Italy (#21), 2ch (#22), TSBT (#23) und B@P (#24) scheinen keine Lust auf Wettbewerb zu haben, alle sichern treu und faul ihre Positionen ab. Auch Chinese Dream (#25) hat wenig Motivation, um mehr zu tun, auch wenn BC etwas vom großen Rückstand abknabbert.

Dahinter beschließen B^S (#27), UBT (#28), BOINCstats (#29) und PiGyS (#30) den Reigen.
